I was messing around and creating some rally versions of some AWD road cars that I had in my garage, and came across the Beetle RSi AWD, which can be bought at the VW New Cars section. Worked on the settings, and what I found was it made an amazing little Rally car. I was able to clear all the dirt and snow courses in Easy, Normal, and some of Hard. Just thought i'd share the settings with anyone who'd like to try.

VW Beetle RSi '00
NA Tune with all other modifications

Brakes - 4/7
VCD - 40 (If you feel the back end is too loose, change to 50)
Spring Rate - 5.5/4.0
Ride Height - 136/136
Stabilizers - 6/6
Transmission Autoset - 6 to 8 (Depending on course and preference)

Try it and enjoy.

yeh top car the beetle, the gt beetle in gt2 was the best handling car, will give your settings a go.
cant see the piont of using cheats in gt4, you can finish the game in no time what a waste of money, the game cost 80 bucks why not work through the game enjoy the challenge and make it last, what say you ? 👍

Agree. I actually haven't even come close to having the game complete, I think i've been sitting at 86% for a couple months now. I'm having more fun doing the rally races to earn some money, buy more cars to use for the rallies and makin more money for more cars. I've actually been doin a lot of drifting, and funding the drifting different cars obsession by doing the rallies with different cars, and this Beetle RSi was one of the great finds I had from enjoyin the game. Hope ya like it.

I am currently at around 48% at the moment after starting my 3rd new game after buying a cheats disc that enabled a X8 acceleration and super turbo, it messed my game up. as of yet i cannot win the original VW Beetle '49 and this is because i cannot seem to beat the other racing beetles in the same car whilst undertaking the beetle tournament, i would be grateful for any help.

BTW is the Mercedes Sauber '89 race car worth winning at this stage.

Cheers

Ben
