PD work in mysterious ways, they'll probably ninja it into the game tomorrow like they did with the Bimmer.

The VGT cars hardly big enough to warrant another big update so they very likely will put it in via hotfixe.

So, having watched the video, read this thread, clicked on various links and so on, I am struggling to find anything or any where that suggests it's a Golf. GTi does not automatically make it a Golf. Can the OP clarify why it says Golf in the thread title because to me that's just misleading. It's only a Golf when they say it's a Golf, not what you or anyone else interperate it to be.

That's not official, that's a websites image and words, not official VW or GT. At no point so far has either the VW group or PD officially called the VGT a Golf.

I can confirm that it wasn't in the game data, check the 1.07 undocumented changes thread.

Funny how the Mitsubishi was but the GTI isn't.

Hopefully there will be some more hidden gems in Tuesday's update.

I agree with @XPOWER180 . nowhere does it say golf.
It says GTI and they have GTI models for both the Golf, Polo, Lupo etc.
GTI is not based of Golf, what where you thinking?

I don't think so, I think people are subconsciously reading the "VW Vision GT reveal by Volkswagen" as the moment when it will become available in the game.

All I am reading from all the available materials is that Volkswagen will unveil their Vision GT model. I didn't see any mention it will be made "available to drive in Gran Turismo 6" on 23rd?

Of course, I would love to be wrong.

If you are talking about the real GTi not being based on the Golf then I think you need your eyes checked. Just putting that out there.

I am not seeing any Polos or Lupos on the #VisionGTI website. I am seeing the history of the Golf GTI, endless photos and a video from GT featuring Golfs.

This debate will go nowhere so lets all look forward to the beast of a Volkswagen.

there is a Golf GTI, yes, but there is also a Polo GTI, Lupo GTI...

The Volkswagen VGT will be based on a Golf, but it will most likely be called "Volkswagen GTI VGT" or something like that. not Golf.

So your saying the GOLF GTI looks like a Golf because it is one? Yes?

But the Polo GTI isn't a Golf? The Scirocco GTI isn't a Golf (granted it's based on one).
GTI is a trim/option level of VW models, not a model in itself.
Now where does the Peugeot 208 GTI fit in
