They're easy to drive to me. Fast driving is what any race driver is aiming for, so it's not like I'm saying they're easy to drive slow. There's nothing wrong with having them easy to drive. Some people will just find more than others in them. I might not be that great with it for all we know, but I know they are easy to handle and go quickly.

Ha, they're hardly easy at Laguna Seca. Seca's quite bumpy. They're easy at Indy, but that's what makes them fun.

Agreed on Laguna Seca. I was having a hard time not flying over the corkscrew, literally. Maybe I was carrying to much speed lol. All the while, I think the series is fine as it is. I'm happy with how the car performs. :)

Same here. Seth hasn't really tested with us, yet. He just doesn't know yet. He always tries to pick up different specs, and doesn't agree with ours. But, he's Seth, and we won't complain or try to change him.

And even with all the reduced power and mega tall gears, its still easy to get into a world of trouble if you cant maintain maximum control at all times. Its still very fast which only makes me more excited for the series.

The only think I dont like is power reduction in general because of the funky things it does to torque and power curve. Thats a discussion for another thread though, I totally understand its place here.

The cars are a little twitchy under braking, but you just have to tune that out with the LSD and brake balance.

If you want these cars to be tricky to drive you have to put them on comfort tyres like we do in the IndyCar Series, racing tyres will give you easy to handle cars but the racing should be very close at least.

What kind of time would this be held if it was 'night'?

Ideally, I'd make it a U.K. approved time. The dates and times depend on where I get interest from. I'd be highly inclined to make it an evening ordeal for the U.K., if possible.

I would be interested, but I don't want to be denied.

I want to be in if I am allowed, if there are any questions you can ask me. I've been looking for a series with FGTs, no matter what the specs.

I had registered for this too.

I put down yellow/blackwithout realizing others had chosen the same color, I have 5 different FGTs to choose from so if I have to, I will choose another one.

I practiced this at Rome, and was able to run a 57.1 to 57.4 For about 15 laps(Decided to stop, tire wear as well.)

The colours COULD be used to simply organize teams, and/or tell drivers apart, in replays.

Also, just for very unofficial testing, (and because there is no televised racing on,) is there anyone with time tomorrow? I'd like to test at Rome or Indy Oval tomorrow.

Shoot me a message, I'll be there. I've got plenty of time. :dopey:

I'd like to register, if possible. I filled in your little form thing. I'm not a WMA member but I have raced oepn wheel series through GTP before. I'm not very experienced with the FGT but I'd like to think I would be able to get up to speed fairly quickly, I have a lot of free time atm so I can practice.

If possible can I join in on a test session and just see how I get on?

This evening @ between 8 & 10, your time, there will be a test session. Everyone's welcome. I want to see how these cars are in traffic. ;)

And, as normal, everyone is welcome, including you!

I'll decide whether i'll sign up or not when you've got a concrete time and day decided. Got a lot of experience in these cars with lower grip and higher hp so it should be a lot of fun to race them in a slightly easier format.

Tires are also undecided. :P

Also, eNJS, I'll post room numbers up here.

Based on the results of the poll, I'd like to ask that everyone please vote soon. Currently, later on (Euro times) on Tuesday's getting ahead.
