I couldn't believe it either but it shows the unpredictability of Wangan, especially when its a Clash of the Tanks.

I was left in utter disbelief after this battle having tailed Shadow throughout the race until the return tunnel on the final lap. He ran wide at the difficult left hander after my 260mph pass and almost came back at me. But he clipped the inside wall on the last turn giving me the small breathing space I needed to take a surprise victory against the defending Emperor. Unbelievable.

The leaderboards are looking tight and nearly set with nary but two full days left in Season 3!!!

I'm not announcing who the final 3 drivers duking it out in the Championship battle for the title of Wangan Emperor are... BUT!! I will announce that the battle is scheduled for Sunday October 14th and the lobby will be opened at 4PM-EST for all to free run, chill, while the contenders practice.

We'll watch the final bout after a bit of free run once the lobby has filled so that constant entering and leaving won't cause lag spikes which could interfere with the battle.

If anyone has any objections to the scheduled time, speak now of forever hold your pipe.

I was contacted by a group of cruisers that would like to partake in this, and it would be a goo number of them. The sooner you give me a date, the sooner I can give it to them.
