You've got to be kidding me.
You've got to be kidding me.
Is that for real???
I guess it works... not that convinced.Unfortunately, yes.
I happened to find an 5DX+ station...
I was going to go broke until my sensible side told me to cap it off. Playing that game can get expensive really fast if you don't let it eat at you. It's actually difficult if you don't know the flow of a car's handling. (Despite what you may watch on YouTube, it does require effort to know how to hit the apexs for each car.) I bought a Bananaport card and interestingly enough, I chose to start with a GC8 Impreza WRX STi. In a few hours, I'm halfway upgraded in power and handling tune- it's enough of a handful to master, yet I was in the groove after a while. (I didn't take a picture because there wasn't any exterior mods to it. I was doing mostly Story Mode.)
Prior to the GC8, I was racing with random people. It's great fun, and I wish that there was more in America. The Japanese players were great in sportsmanship from my experience- even if there was a language barrier.
And the music blaring behind your back with the bass thumping... It's pretty serious after playing it for two or so hours.
I played with random people- Japanese and foreigners. They all were great to play with. I did see one guy had a built early hawkeyed STi (forgot the model name for that one [GD8 or something]) in black. I never versused him, but he played decent. Also had someone sit next to me with using a AE86- now, THAT was surprising because I never saw it on videos often.Lucky for you to play 5DX+
And based from your experience, I guess the players there are less toxic than the International version community (since I've been watching Japanese WMMT VS battle videos too)
Over here, there are too many FD/R32/RX-8/Evo9 users that it's getting tiring, and profanity as an icing on the cake.
It should be a good experience for you. And the GC8 is a nice car outside the bandwagon.
At least there's a variety of players who use whatever car they choose. The time trials? Forget it, the best cars are used. But outside of that, it's great to engage in.
Starting a new build, but from a discard. So no need to tune from scratch:
It looks like a 997 into a 991. (Or a Caymen to 991.)
How does it handle?
I'm keen to try the new NSX and old NSX haha
Hmm guess I need to tune a few TA cars then
