I was wondering about Subaru's take on this. I would of thought that autocrossing would be discouraged, and I would just keep it secret when I took it in for any work. But Subaru GIVES you a certificate for a free year SCCA membership...?

That is pretty wierd huh... I also dont get the Subaru part on this.

Looks like another case of someone not reading their warranty restrictions - and as mentioned in the article, Subaru do go to some lengths to make clear that warranty does not apply if damage occurs in racing.

One has to ask exactly how the car in question came by conrod and turbo damage.
