In what car though?
Merc VGT

Edit:

Well, that was disappointing. Brand new Merc VGT, bone stock, no oil change, no aides, ABS 0, grip to Real...49.852 first try. So, there must be something different because he didn't "look" almost 4 seconds slower.

Similar news -- we're hosting a Reddit AMA with Kazunori (along with Shiro Nakamura, head of global design at Nissan) at 9:00 AM EDT this morning! I'll drop the link in here when it goes live.

Seriously, just head over to Q&A section here at GTP, sort questions by votes and copy/paste them one by one.

It will be the most sane and transparent thing to do - with best results in the interest of the overall GT community.

Looking forward reading it, Reddit is a visual and logical mess for my perception (:)), but it is one great resource 👍

Also, Pikes Peak is this weekend, ask him about having Pikes Peak finally included ;)

I was in goodwood moving motor show yesterday. In the Nissan exhibition hall they let you to pre-drive the new nissan gt vision concept in gran turismo. I've watched somebody finished the hill climb in 45sec something, first place in yesterday's event. He might have earned himself goodwood hillclimb experience.

Kaz drives the regular VGT in the vid and with auto trans

and he hits the grass, no sense comparing to a dirty run.
I'm thinking he's using standard fair aides (TCS 5, ABS1) and no driving line. Even with the "off", he still wasn't that slow. My lap was hardly what I'd call fast and I have no delusions that I am a quicker driver than Kaz is.
