Why World Series Championships are so simplified, just one final race for each mode (Nations and Manufacturers)?

In the days of GT Sport, with the weekend full of races, with several qualifying rounds, the competitions were much more exciting.

Has Sony reduced investments in GT7? Is Sony dissatisfied with the direction of GT7? Is Sony containing expenses to complete its future acquisitions?

This doesn't seem normal in light of the high quality of GT Sport competition a few years ago.

Live events vs. online events.

The live event this weekend has three regional qualifiers, a repechage, and a final in Nations, and a 48-lap endurance race in Manufacturers.
