Hey guys, just wanted to throw out an open invitation for u guys to invite ur buddies to this events page! Feel free to chat it up on here about all kinds of good stuff that's going on in ur racing worlds. I feel more chatter = more traffic! Post ur pics, vids, and other events ur running in to help promote. As far as I'm concerned without the help of the gang at SAC I would still be getting killed in the first corner of a public lobby. Don't miss those days and love racing with a group of talented drivers and guys that respect everyone. New guys that want to be apart of clean fun racing this is a safe landing spot to become great and learn a ton of tuning tips as well, all r welcome!

I couldnt join the lobby. Because i got an error when i tried to join the club.
Do you need to invite me? I will try the combo tommorow and will post a few times here

2.05.xx with a more or less suboptimal setup. Is NOS allowed or did someone drive a 2.01 without it?
Because i can see me doing 2.03 but not 2.01^^

No nos, i did the 201. With driving line and 202. Without line. I was using the line to get breaking points down.

Hey guys, I'm planning an event that you may or may not like, but I'd like the feedback anyway. The High Speed 100 will be on the 28th of December 1 pm Eastern Time, The track is High Speed Ring and it will be a 100 lap race. This is not just any 100 lap race however, the event will feature Daytona 500 like qualifying and qualifier races. There will be a 10 minute qualifying session with a 1 lap race after just to save all the qualifying times, the 1 lapper means nothing for positions but will be a good warm up for the first lap of the big race. After that there will be 2 races with the people who qualified in odd numbered positions and even numbered positions. The starting grid for those races is based on the qualifying times. Your finishing position in these races will determine which row you start in for the 100 lap race. HOWEVER, the front row will be locked into their position based on the time they posted in qualifying. In order to keep their position on the grid the front row starters must finish on the lead lap in their qualifier race, otherwise they will start at the back of the field. Qualifier races will be 10 laps long and do not require a pitstop of any kind. Once the qualifier races have finished and the grid is set completely, drivers will be called out onto the track in order of their starting spots and will park out past the pits and the race will be started from there.

Cars Eligible to Race:
Toyota 86 GT
Toyota 86 "Racing"
Subaru BRZ S
Scion FR-S

Race Rules and Room Settings:
Car Performance - MAX it out, put body kits on, do whatever you want, but NO NOS
Tires - Unlimited
Fuel Consumption and Tire Wear will be on Normal
No Boost
Real Slipstream
Real Grip at Track Edge
Visible Damage
Light Mechanical Damage
Grid Start - No False Start
Available Aids - Driving Line and ABS
Cautions - Cautions will be run during the race for crashes that involve more than one car. Pitting is allowed during a caution and anyone can pit whenever, lap(s) down or not. If anyone stays out during a caution pit cycle they gain the positions of anyone that stopped in front of them. Anyone that does pit lines up at the back of the lead lap cars that did not pit. Lap down cars will line up at the back of the lead lap cars after pitting in position order. Caution length will be 2 laps with the restart happening at the start/finish line. Restarts will be double file with lap down cars lining up on the inside row and lead lap cars on the outside or single file if there are no lap down cars. Caution speed is 70 MPH or 112 KM/H for those using metric units. Cautions will not be thrown past 7 laps to go, this is to give at least 5 green flag laps for a fair decision of the finish of the race.

UPDATE: Lap down cars - People that may go a lap down, going your first lap down you may race the leader(s) as hard as you would the position ahead of you in order to stay on the lead lap. Once fully a lap down and the leader(s) have cleared you to where you can't pass them again, you must yield to all other cars going past, especially if there is a battle for position going on. The first car not on the lead lap will gain back their lap if a caution comes out, HOWEVER, if you purposely cause a caution to gain your lap back you will start restart at the end of the longest line and will still be a lap down. When getting your lap back you will do so once the first caution lap has been completed. A first caution lap is considered full until the leader gets through the first sector, the full lap will then start at the start/finish line.
LEADERS, this is important so understand this. If you come up behind some lapped traffic and there is a battle for position going on, those cars have the right to finish their battle, so if you pass an ongoing battle be very careful and choose passing points wisely.

Caution Update: If you are the reason the caution came out you lose all positions until you hit pace speed again after recovering (70 MPH or 112 KM/H). If you have a mic please call out when you have hit it again so everyone knows you have the right to that position. If you have no mic honk your horn when you hit the speed and again if someone catches up to you under caution to ensure they know you have the right to that position.

To say it again, the event will be run on December 28th at 1 PM Eastern Time, I do not want anyone to miss the event that may want to participate. So please if you want to come make sure you get the right time for your time zone. Message me on PSN if you're interested.
