It's hard to pick just one.. I have so many!

It's gotta be the E30 M3 though. Can somebody explain why this isn't in Gran Turismo? Simply unfathomable. :indiff:

Just curious, but what are your thoughts on the M535i? Yes, I got carried away!

Sadly it's an originality fail, but this was it:

(maybe not so) Interesting fact: My brother was into the Countach. Now, about 20-25 years later he would still pick a Lambo over a Ferrari and I would pick a Ferrari over a Lambo.

And, just for Famine, a pink (or is that purple/magenta) bus which may look familiar as well.

I've got two of those - one in that sort of condition and one with the yellow stickers still on it.

Quite why I don't know.

Interestingly I have two as well. My other is quite nice, and still has all of the paint, but I couldn't track it down for the picture. Admittedly, though, I have no stickers for that one.

As a kid, that was one of my most 'loved' cars, meaning I used to crawl around with that in my hand making car noises.

As you may gather I'm looking oddly forward to racing the VW Samba. :)

Bburago 1:18, got it when I was 3 or 4, still have it :) (not my car, just a picture of it).

Windows are broken off, exhaust is only still attached at the front (and nearly falls off!), car is in a poor state but I still have it in my room.

(In fact, I remember back when we were living in a flat, as a 3 year old I broke the front window, realized I was in trouble and ran accross the house to hide between the stairs in the dining room )

I also still have my second model car, a 1:18 green 356 I got from my uncle for my 4th birthday. Still have it, and somehow that one is in a mint condition.

I've always have been interested in cars, as both my uncle and my dad are massive cars/racing fans. My whole life is actually revoked around cars and racing in general. Infact, the first word I said as a baby was car, followed by train

Memories :)

In the exact same color. The Lamborghini Diablo SV.

Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit was the game that sparked my love and obsession with cars. Came out when I was 4 years old.. I didn't know anything about cars, really, and seeing all these super rare and super fast cars at the time excited me. Unlocking cars and tracks in this game, and playing with my dad, are some of my greatest childhood memories. :D:tup:

Well they weren't my first words but when i was a toddler and I saw a vehicle I would yell out "TRUCK TRUCK TRUCK".
ha ha memories indeed.

When I was young I had so many matchbox and hotwheels cars it was rediculous. Every time my mom would take me to the mall I got a choice, candy or a car. Most of the time I chose the car.

My favorite for a long time was a reddish Jag with opening doors, it looked so classy.

When I first saw an NSX at the auto show I fell in love with it. It was my favorite car for a long time until the Lotus Elise and then Exige replaced it.

Finally, my 1\87ths pics got hosted, TWITPIC does not work.

Most are generic plastic and steel generic rims, some are highly detailed all plastic german made, with rubber tires and real rims. (bmw 320i, corrado, benz e190 poliizia, and bmw 3 wagon and porsche 944)...and a Batman Joker van, the one from Returns.

I'm being truly honest that is MY FAVORITE CAR of all times, I'm not joking this car is beautiful!:drool:👍👍, I hope I can take it on the 'ring in GT5!! Does anybody know if it was included in the Gran Turismo series before? :indiff:

My first DieCast that I really loved was this.

And I remember going to the park with my dad when I was about 5 and driving it down the slide, and it flew off into the bushes and I never saw it since.

I cried on that day haha.

actually this looks more like it.

Sadly, i am afraid none of those cars  will be featured in GT5 :nervous: :indiff: :ill: :guilty: :scared:

I have been asking for them since GT4! I am so surprised that PD never paid attention to them :(

I hope Kaz will finally understand the importance of the 80's BMW, and will include them in GT6!

As for me, i had fallen in love with bmw specifically because of those :bowdown::bowdown: e21, e28, e30 etc etc...

Absolutely beautiful cars, Thanks FlyingSwissman 👍 👍

I wanted to add:

Eldon_9545_Power-Pack-8_Slot-Car-Set_1967_web.jpg

but the closest thing to GT series game that i first experienced had to be this game:
I was completely hooked on this:

I still have it to this day... keeping it close to the bed..

anyone with this in their house?

To tell the truth, I can't really say exactly when I started to love cars.

Sure I played with toy cars when I was a kid (I still have like two boxes full of old Majorettes, Matchbox, etc.) and liked to go to the local car museum with my father (and still do). Back then I thought I wasn't ever going to get a drivers license since driving a car looked so hard!

I guess I could say I became much more interested in cars by playing the Gran Turismo games on PS1 and PS2. Sure I had played racing games before GT too, like Need for Speed II, but I played them more because they were games and not because I was especially interested in cars. Although I do remember that back in the day I really found the Jaguar XJ220 in NFSII awesome looking - I guess you could say it was my first love! :embarrassed:

It hasn't been until really the last few years that I have seriously started to get interested in cars - not just in their looks but also in their inner workings.

Oh my God, someone remembered Need For Speed II!!! It was my favourite racing game when i was younger, i still play it now

Even before NFSII

There was the NFS (one) SE (special edition)
which i consider to be the best NSF game

And my other model car is a large 1960's Pontiac Bonneville Interstate Batteries "Hot Rod Magazine 50th Anniversary" car. It may not be a beauty to look at, with it's scrapes, broken chromed plastic bumpers and the spoiler comes off, but it's a little slice of my Father for me. Unfortunately, it's too big to race my M5, GTX1, and Z06!

But GT4 is what started my adoration for vehicular machinery.
