:ill: Why do you say that? The 360 supports native 1080p.
Yes, so does the PS3. But the number of native 1080p games (decent ones anyway, not the PSN/XBL ones) is very limited, on both consoles. Add to that that EA has trouble running games stable (without framedrops) at native 720p, let alone native 1080p. Upscaled will be no issue of course, since the consoles can do that quite nicely by themselves. Besides that, if it were actually running at native 1080p, you would definitely see a huge difference in visual detail, and it would definitely be mentioned all over the net by now.

Well, there is a pretty decent visual difference between the two. EA is also running their sports games at 1080. But, I don't have the game, so I have no idea.

The visual difference is mainly in AA, lighting and shader quality. There's a vid posted here somewhere that shows the two besides eachother, where that can be seen quite clearly. :)

Good news!! Thanks for the update Arosa 👍 Guess I can stop spamming the EA forums with my inconsiderate, mainly mad posts... :D

They should feel fortunate that I didn't post in the middle of my red mist yesterday... actually, doing that might have got me a 1 post ban

I did make that mistake :ouch::ouch:

Did you all consider that maybe car body deformation is left out, cause visually Shift is better looking on PS3, and that Shift on PS3 has a much better force feedback that need to be calculated also.

Better visual + Better Force Feedback > car body deformation.

Don't get me wrong on this, i even send a letter to SMS regarding this issue, just so they know what i feel about differences in damage.
I know i'm not going to get a answer, but still i felt like sending them a mail from unhappy(cheated) customer

Patch is coming later this week to fix the damage model... It was a bug... its all posted on the EA Forums for NFS... and Arosa posted a link in an earlier post...

I could see your point about the better force feedback with the G25, but as already noted, the PS3 trails visually, so that isn't it.

I am just glad it's getting a patch.

Well that sucks as I have the PS3 version on my birthday list.

Scaff
You don't want it, it's awful. Honestly, after buying, lemme think here... NFS Hot pursuit, High Stakes, hot pursuit 2, Carbon, & Pro Street, at the least, night have forgotten one or two, I will NEVER, EVER buy another NFS game, unless I see ground solid evidence, in video form, of actual gameplay, that they make a decent one. All the ones I bought before I could enjoy, now I have to use buttons I don't want to, or pause the game 5x a race, and the cars swivel like they have 4 wheel steering, words cannot describe how I feel about this game. They really can't. And the worst part, is that there is nothing I can do to get revenge on EA. If there is I'll find it though.
