We need spoiler tags

I was thinking more like a button that says "spoiler" and when you click it, it shows the hidden text. I saw it used to give walkthroughs.

You could always press your super duper mod edit button. 💡

He he, I didn't know we could do that! How cool is that? - TM ;)

Or you could also use the plain jane ordinary GTP member quote button. ;)

edit: Does anyone know how to highlight text using the SIXAXIS controller?? I'm browsing GTP at home on my PS3, and I can't see any of the hidden text in this thread :(
Yes, this is how you do it:

He he he...

What a suprise, I was wondering what was going on, I thought you were flexing some secret mod power or something.

Hmmm, even a quick glance through this thread and I can already see a problem or two with this idea... it's pretty irritating having to highlight everybody's text just to see what is written - and being able to use this facility in signatures looks a bit untidy... I like the idea of people using spoiler warnings, but surely a simple "SPOILERS AHEAD" does the job just as well, as SS69 says...? As usual, it's a great idea that runs the risk of being abused...

It is unfortunate that immature use of many previous features has led to their removal, and the spoiler tag is certainly not exempt from that fate. Also, it is very unfortunate that vBulletin provides no way to prohibit a custom tag such as this from being inserted into signatures, but it is certainly not allowed. Please report any abuse of the spoiler tag that you see!

I agree with Jordan and even in this thread I've seen examples of how the spoiler tag could be abused.
It's sad to me because I've often thought of using those spoiler tags in the movies/tv forum (but never actually used them since I didn't even know I could).

I don't believe that the spoiler tags would be abused, I haven't seen a spoiler tag anywhere else other than this thread. But I think that the quote tags can't be used in signatures anymore, because they took alot of room, rather than just saying Eric: "You have no Zukini's." Or "I always tell the truth, even when I lie." - Eric

But how did Omni's have such a big M on his sig and have it centered? Also how some people have quote tags in ther signatures and I can't do so? :scared:

Just curious, but rest assured, seeing that not too many people will use this feature. They just post it here to test it out etc.
EDIT: Suprised Duċk didn't reply to my little joke to him. :)

You nosey creep!
Testing...
EDIT: I think there should be a sort of boarder line between quotes and spoilers if thats not to hard to fix. Look above.

Omnis and the people with quote tags in their signatures haven't changed theirs since Jordan implemented new sig rules that doesn't allow centering, large font sizes, and quotes.

EDIT: Then again, Kent's signature is centered yet I swear he had a different one before. Am I hallucinating?
