hey drifters...i m new to this forum, and i knoe that there are alot of people that drift realli well just by looking at the vids...but i would like to know what cars do you guys prefer??? im not looking for any special tips, but just some suggestions, ya know? I own a 240sx, s15, fc, integra, wrx impreza, 300zx, skyline r32 and s-tune, and sprinter... and jus wanted to know is there anything i could do to these cars to make em' more better for drifting?
thanx

have u read the drift for dummies thread and find the thread regarding drift setting. it helps a lot. it take quite a while to read those thread but trust me.. it's a worth it. i'm also new to this forum but has enthusiam for drifting for a long time. my suggestion, try use an altezza. it has a good torque and handling. i find it easier for me to find the right angle using this car. fc is better in terms of getting more smoke but it need quite a skill to master the hadling. i first try to drift using a car with 250-300hp first to get the 'feel' of controling the movement then slowly ugrade it to a higher power.

To make a car drift better, you just need to keep praticeing , and when you feel that the car is restricting you, and don't allow you to do a higher drift angle, or if it is hard to start a drift because it does too much understeer, then you must change your settings. Make it lower and if it oes understeer, make your rear spring rate harder than your front in the spring rate, try something like Front: 7 and Rear:8 or 9. You feel it does too much oversteer, than make your rear spring rate softer like a F:7 R:6 or make your front harder. If you use a limited lsd, than you may want to lower your acceleration value lower too, like 36 or less to do more oversteer, or if it does too much oversteer, make 40 or more.

You may try the settings that are posted in this forum, but would advise you to try to do your own settings, because everyone has his style, someones like them more grippy, others don't, so do the settings that fit your style.

Try the rx-7 cars, the FD and FC, Silvias and 180 or 240 sx, and the sprinter, as they are the great cars to drift.

just get any rwd car and lower it and it will be driftable. ive drifted everything from trueno to corvette and all i do is lower the car and turn the aids off.. well of course buy lots of parts for it too...

i drift with a 39,000 hp Nissan Skyline. It can drift 3/4 of one side of the curve on the test track. Of coarse the only way i had recied that much hp is from my Game Shark.👍

trueno ae-86 (i-j) semi tuned and modded every corner full sideways on trail mountain. i try n make drifts with little to no counter steer they look sweet on replays... wat steering settings is every 1 using i use simulation.any 1 got set ups for turbo 86 (i-J) still havnt got the ss
