No problem, i understand, i was not upset about you guys, i'm upset about my power company, why they had to fail me on this precise occasion!
My condolences to you for missing out and Chozza for running out of fuel. That's why I add fuel on my first pit stop. Also, my apologies to ere (I forget the full username of the Fairlady Z driver) for accidentally running into you under braking at Turn 1 early in the race. No deliberate malice was meant by that.

It's fine man, on lap 12 (I think) I spun the rears up and hit you pretty hard coming out of turn 1. Sorry about that!

Good race for me, second start in the WEC and second podium!
WOW! It was the best race in my virtual race driver career.
One mistake caused losing 2nd position and third pit stop gave me 4th position.
But at the end of race, became the " miracle under Fuji" Chozza slowed!!
I didn't believe in it, what I see... So, I'm not happy with Chozza's bad luck , but for me after my mistake it was a dream come true for the podium!
Race very interesting and I am very happy that I can starts in THIS WEC series.
I was a Fastest Lap in the GTE class, so Wonderful!!!

Just asking, who's the ORECA Audi R8 guy? The one who obviously idolises Sergio Perez and Kamui Kobayashi for his wacko pass on me at turn 1 from around 7 car lengths back that nearly spun me out?

It was me, and it wasn't a wacko pass I just honestly had no idea you were going to be braking so early. I drove really miserably in this series yesterday though, numerous mistakes. If I can make future races I'll be better prepared.

That was an Epic race yesterday guy's.
I had a race of two half's, the first half it was all going wrong for me, got passed by 2 GTE cars at the start, lost a lot of time getting lapped by the LMP cars, then i realized that my Viper was lacking in straight line speed compared to the other GTE cars so I had to try something different to everyone else, I seemed to have really good long run pace so I switched from a 3stop to a 2stop strategy and decided to run very long on my 1st stint (18laps) after my pitstop I got taken off track by an LMP car and also had a few issues with LMP cars diving down the inside under braking into the corners, losing me and thereselfs time. but I was determined not to let these issues/problems ruin my race.
2nd half of the race it all started coming good for me. I could see that most other GTE cars were eating there tyres quickly, so I knew then if I looked after my tyres that I was still in the hunt for the win, really got my head down and pushed my viper to its max and was able to make up a lot of positions during there extra pitstops, I would of been very happy to take the 2nd place I was running in near the end of the race, I was catching chozza I knew his tyres were nearly gone and then I couldn't believe it when I saw him slowing down, the LMP cars had just finished the race so my 1st thought was that chozza was slowing because we had finished, so I slowed down then I noticed larry wasnt backing off so I had to get back in the throttle hard, very hard infact, the pressure was on max (heart beating way way to fast lol), 1 mistake from me in those last 2-3 laps would of cost me the win, but I didn't make 1 and took the win by 2-3 car lengths. my First win in WEC's GTE class

Was certainly a tense finish Richy, i was losing most of my time through short shifting trying to save fuel once it dawned on me that i might struggle to finish, sorry for not getting off the race line out of turn 1 when i'd ran out of fuel, i was probably still busy being angry at myself haha but i have to say the first stint in that race was a lot of fun with everyone being so close, tyre wise i called it spot on cause you lot seemed to go a lot longer on a stint than i thought you would. Either way well done mate, some plaudits should go to ben (larrylackapants) as well, nice feisty drive and coming away with fastest lap as well.

I should also add my name to the apologise list; Horrible screw-ups on lap 1 and later in the first stint colliding with Larry. I really struggled with the braking point off the racing line, just missed all my markers and before I realised it was too late. Other then that the racing seemed nice and close. Was good fun =)

it was a 1.31.9 as far as i can remember.... also mate you need to turn up about an hour earlier than you did (if you can) as you did come in just as quliy was finishing
no mento, i connected 30min before the qualy started, but my power went out, then it came up 10min before the race started, it was not my fault

Yes, but at least the full circuit doesn't have as big an issue with traffic. There's more room for the traffic to spread out. The big issue with all Cape Ring layouts is that the track is quite narrow. Except for the pit straight used for the South, Periphery, and Full layouts, Cape Ring is quite narrow and difficult to overtake on. I tested on the South Circuit in my Jaguar XJ220 LM - the same one I ran in the race last Saturday - and managed a best time of 1:12.245. Slower than I expected. I think this could be a one-stop race for the Jag if we do use Cape Ring South.
