What day suits everyone?

Should be interesting, although I admit tire wear is concerning me, given that the Racing Softs we currently run will be worn out after about 3-4 laps on the LMP cars and not much longer on the GTE cars.
Also, are we going to run the all-daytime/all-dry-weather Nürburgring 24h layout or the Weather Change/Time Change version?

It will be night and day but it will be dry, there were to many complaints about the spa race.. Also can you confirm if you are a full time driver mate??

THIS WILL BE THE FINAL ROUND OF SEASON 1 OF THE WEC CHAMPIONSHIP!

BUT DON'T GO THROWING THE PHONE AT A WAITER JUST YET!​

Season 2 will start at Le Mans! A revised calendar is going under construction, However, the remainder of this calendar will be fulfilled first,

Some rules and regulations are going under review, But with the overwhelming applications of driver's who showed up later into the season and wish to do this full time will be rewarded with a clean slate, However this is a no commitment series, If you wish to commit its fantastic, but if you wish to only race at one place, and there is a spot for you, you are more then welcome,

The new calendar will be designed to go right through to GT6's approximate release date, (we are thinking late October to early November) However, Races will continue to be fortnightly,

The points system will be revised, and the original tire rule maybe revisited on discussion with the other stewards, (this also needs to discuss race length),

Heavy damage will be in for S2, And our penalties maybe a little more harsh, But that shouldn't be an issue as S1 has been a steep but good learning curve for us to implement new things,

LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVING YOU GUYS FIGHT IT OUT ON TRACK!​

:lol: I figure with the higher calibre of drivers and the display that they have put on over the past 2 rounds, I think they are ready for it, From what I hear the entire GTE field was covered inside of 3 tenths in qualifying and fastest laps during the race,
 
All that sounds good to me!! i personally don't like using Racing soft tires, cause the grip level is to high and doesn't correspond to real life IMO. Also i alwys like the full, the only downside is that LAG could be a problem in GT5 while on full damage, but never the less, i always prefer to use GT5 as a racing simulator, not a racing game 👍

Just caught wind of this Dave. Op looks awesome! Can I sit in for the N24 round next weekend if I don't have a time conflict with some plans that I have that Sunday evening? I also noticed you posting that your going to spot race this. If hadn't been for me hosting races Saturday & Sunday I would be full time in this, but I would like to spot race this on the dates that I can. This would be even easier if the Dodge Viper seat is still open? let me kno thanks' 👍
 
I don't believe there is a time conflict with your event's Joe, hence this time slot was based for the TOCA gent's and for you and Tyson,

I believe Richy is pretty dead set on the Viper, but if there is a spot available we will work something out,

Ill check the availble cars and do an arrive and drive.
 
It's just over a week till the final round of season 1 of the wec..... There will be a test session on Tuesday night at 8 pm bst, who's joining??

And you know what would make for some interesting strategy? Have a Prime/Option tire layout with those two compounds and require the use of one set of both compounds in the race.

True ultimatly the Meds are a better choice here but on softs you only pit every 3rd lap vs 4th lap. Except for Gippone he pitted every 2 laps and it was quite effective. I still wouldn't do it even tho there was technically some track position going on in his favor. But he did have to wait to the last 3 laps to get fully paid on it. And with absolutely no mistakes I could of finished right in the fight with him somewhere came lap 12.

Btw how many laps are you guys doing for the N24 next week? And I want to be on Richy Team with the Viper if availble?
 
hey Dave, can I join this again for LeMans July 13th? My BMW V12 is still available?

Think its only 1 driver per car, but you can use the viper for the next race if you want joe, and i'll use an LMP for N24 if any are available?

I want to use the Viper for next season in GTE, as the racing in GTE is so close.

I'm always looking for a reason to drive the LMP's finally, but whatever track you guys go to I've most likely done it in GTE so I figure if I use the Viper it would easy practice as I already have the #'s on that car. If you don't get the LMP then no worries ill drive something available around! 👍

Btw how many laps is the N24 going to be?

Further, I want to organize a photo shoot for the OP, also as a tribute to the Late Allen Simonsen, please let us know if we you can help us,
