Funniest part of the nite 4 me was trying to chase down capt_d and all i could hear was somebody saying (in a horror movie sort of way) "he's gonna get u, gary" or " he's right behind you, gary". All that was missing was the jaws music! To add to this my name is also gary. Hard to drive when your laughing!

Great fun last nite. Some fantastic dicing, mostly with cpt_d.

Your very welcome Megg, you'll find that we don't bother on a Wednesday tuning most just run stock, even if it's like last night an open race night. As time is short with working lives, most is just a part tune as these were in the hope of making them all equal.

But you'll get use to us, most of the time its just pick up and go racing, the French connection is a tuned event for the new year. One is tuned the other stock, both being cars we would not normally use it was the only way to match them.

Gary (megg) like I said we are very relaxed on a Wednesday, no championship race or official club races just pure fun. Leave the egos at the door on the way in and pick up the ego on the way out.

Glad you had a laugh, if someone can smile just once on the night it's been a success.

Couple of ideas I've been testing for verity with help from GTP_PASM and RAY_J25 I've been thinking of real rally stage type racing. Now our room setting does not allow you to change from TT to Race once the lobby has been set.

So to get round this the idea is for just a couple of races on dirt and snow in race mode ie all on track at the same time, but like Rally Stage set off 5 or 10 seconds apart.

Idea is who sets the fastest race time after the allowed time frame, you can catch and pass the guy in front, as you would in Rally Stage so making it a race and a TT all in one.


Well that's how I see it, if you think it will work let me know if your interested. We can add in some 4X4 road races as well for the WFN entertainment.

Seasonal Events online.

Suzuka Circuit 2014 on 07 / 01 / 2015

I see a good number took part in this event so having the right car for the job is no worry, out of the 18 I have on my list and I'm sure some of you have a lot more on yours we should be able to fill a room if not more.

If you think some of your PSN friends on your list would be interested, drop them a PM.

A little help from you will soon have Wednesday Fun Night back in full swing again in 2015.

Details are.

Time: 20:00 till 10:00 in WFN Club Lounge.

600pp or less / Sports Soft or less / Normal car / 4WD

Room settings will be normal but as this is a PD seasonal, penalties will be on.

You can if you wish change car as many times as you like, as long as it conforms to the regulations in the GT seasonal event on PS3.

Sorry about the techincal problems, but this Africa,hahaha, it will work with no problem for months, then when you need it most, it's gone.

I enjoyed the racing, your accents catch me out sometimes, but I recon it's the same for you.

Thanks Phil for the organising, and Gary, Wil and Theevan(hope I got that right) for letting me enjoy myself. I'll bring some mates too join with the same outlook to online racing as us.

Francois you are more that welcome sir, and yes bring along others too, we know all to well about SA internet, we've raced and had members from there, not the most stable.

10/10 for your hard work trying to connect to the room after so many DC's.

With changes in home life of late, I've had to more my online time to Wednesdays, as other days are not so easy for me now. I'll be doing more on a Wednesday, so if you and your mates would like to join in that would be great.
