Congrats to HighonPSI for the victory.

1'39.054 - Gt4

What I think is great about the Mini is that it teaches you to stay smooth and learn about throttle control, especially on a circuit like Rome II. That is what made it such a nice side race here.

I had Private Messages asking questions from 4 others who didn't submit final times (slackers...hahahah!) which turns out to be more than I thought would do this.

I am still thinking about plans for a 3-5 race "Mini Cup" but would realistically need 10'ish people to run all three races. I think the next step would to be to post an interest check for people not in the weekly.

This was a fun race, thanks guys!

Nice one scuderia229,

Definately a great side race:D .Had more fun throwing the mini round this track than the actual weekly,HaHa...(My first 4 cars were minis and ill always have a soft spot for them;)

"MINI CUP" sounds great, count me in.

I woud be ALL OVER a "mini cup."

Fully tuned, partly tuned, stock, tires only, whatever!

Mind if I pass some suggestions? Don't vary the "tune level" over the series, either choose 10 lap races for all of them, or non-tire wear races for all of them. :):D Awaiting this challenge.

Well I have some ideas as for the car setup but it will probably be a fully tuned mini with spec tires and no TC/ASM.

The races themselves would probably be hot lappers in "free run" mode. The idea of multi lappers is SO bad but I would need to think about it.

I have 3 circuits that I think would rock with a mini, well I know they do, I run them often. My idea for the series is to pay respect for the 60s Mini racing. Running a Mini over circuits that have the surface types as a real Mini would have raced back then. GT3 offers a range of stuff that would be good.

So do this for me....

If you are interested in a series PM me, I'll keep your name and let you know when I am going to do the series.

I am also going to do an interest checkon the "Short race" board.

This could be alot of fun.

well unfortunately i wasnt able to put in as much time with this as i wanted to (seems obvious huh) but it was a nice change.
