I'm afraid I can't run this one guys. Don't have the car, and doubt I have the money or ability to buy it.(PAL) (still haven't finished the game) maybe I'll put this week into earning money and getting used to my new wheel

my best t3 now is 1.01.3 but i just can't make my own setups Can anyone of you guys post a good setup
,then i can get t3 in 1.00.**,for now 1.01.3 is maximum can't go faster anymore with this setup

This is weird. On my 4th lap i got the T's posted above and since then i have driven 190 miles on the car and my best lap since then is a .974 while my 4th lap was a .177, ive enevr had this happen where i cant beat the time i set on lap 4. i guess im gonna give it a few more tries but im not even coming close so i dont know how much longer ill try.

If you saved a replay of that earlier lap, load it as a ghost and see where you're losing time. There are a number of turns here that will punish "trying too hard". If you're braking late, or letting the rear end get loose, those tenths add up. Good luck, but not too good. We're "neck and neck"!

Sorry guys, I will be taking a leave of absence again... this morning the onset of carpal tunnel hit me in the right wrist from pushing the 'X' button too much and too hard

i did and ive tried that and i can beat myself to T1 by .3 but those 2 turns before T2 i nailed on my best lap and i cant possibly beat them. After T2 i nailed the rest of the turns too so there is no time to make up in there. ive used the analyzer and the first 3 sections are always faster but after that every sector is about .1 off. its frustrating but also kinda cool since im hoping that means i have a good time.
PS: im gonna win D3

Surprisingly my best lap my car slides all over the place and i get completely sideways on half the turns but somehow my ghost is crushing me.
this is one of my fave tracks and i can't believe i'm doing so poorly. i'm hitting T1's of 16.2 all day, but then the rest goes to $hit with T2's of 46+. I've even hit 15.9's a couple times and i'm still entering T2 at 46 
anyways... gonna be hard to put in more time for this week as much as i love the car/track. too many playoff games to watch!

Thought I might miss this week as I took my "Seat" apart for finish welding & painting. Worked on it LATE last nite so I could paint it this AM, but it's raining!!! 
So I put it back together & got me a "Racin' Viper." I've never driven this thing before & haven't driven at all since last Saturday. She's a real "Handfull" eh? 
Settings pretty much "Right Outta the Box" / Best times after 5 Laps:
T-1 = 16.2xx
T-2 = 45.7xx
T-3 = 1'01.8xx
LOTS more to be found if I can only keep the front & rear wheels pointed in the SAME Direction! ...UB57

I ran one session for testing at the begining of the week, then again yesterday to actually see if I could get anything good going.
Walked into a 1'01.8, then by the end of a 15 lap session I was down to 1.00.9
At the time, I see a 1.00.5 easily within my grasp... however, something else has my attention.

I'm gonna be playing socom for quite a while and I will try to get in some laps with this race so I can post something in the results, but at the moment, it's looking like socom will take up my time.
Never know, but who cares anyway, just more room in div 1 right?

I am going to give this race one more shot tomorrow night, I am in the low 1'02.xxs which given how much I loath this car is about as good as I am going to get i think...I am happy with it, but will give it another try....

It's size works against it. Through simple l/r snaps and high speed turns it's good, but get in the slower corners or high camber ones and it either spins or mysteriously acts like the front was hit by a sledge hammer. Not a bad car in some respects, and I intend on trying to complete this. I just think a race car, even with 1000+ hp shouldn't feel like it's stalling or turn so widely at 45-55 mph. I always complain, and GoKents would hurt diversity if he always chose the easiest cars. I'm alright with the combination, except next time I'd like it detuned so I don't need to correct so much. A Viper is not meant to be so powerful. I got into the 1:01.6s.

That is my point. I don't like over powerful cars in GT3. The Viper tops out at what...about 800hp in a real world race situation? Most of the ones I have seen raced are closer to 600hp.
WRC rally cars in real life are 300hp, but you can get them over 600hp in GT3.
GT/GTS cars max out around 650-700hp for most cases, if even that high.
LeMans cars push 900+ in cases...
(I am being general here, I am sure there are some of these cars in GT3 that get as high hp as they can in GT3...but that aren't too common).
It is a feature of GT3 I think is kinda lame...I'd rather have the cars live in real world limits, not video game limits.....
I wish all the race cars in GT3 were like the F1 cars, no n/a or turbo upgrades available... road cars can tune but within real world limits....
just my opinion, that is the main reaosn i don't like stupidly over powered cars in GT3...like this damn viper...

Actually, no I don't. (been playing socom too much.
)However, the suggestions thread is always open and I would love to see a good suggestion rather than an off the wall too personalized pick. (not that you do that, but in general people tend to suggest races they have experience with or races that are very specific in tires, mods, tuning, etc. )
soo... go suggest something.

Btw, I know some of you don't like the viper, but I bet the end times submitted will show some speed that you would not expect fromt he viper; not denso speed, but still some good speed.
