Very well done everyone!

This was a hard lap, but a nice combo if you could find the time to get past that first turn.

Please post any of your replays or analyzer data here.
I will have a replay up shortly for anyone interested in an "alright lap with no traction control."

Hope to see all of you in week 72,
Until then,

Well,
Unified said he used tcs. 👍
I think that I should have (looking back on it).
Probably would have given me an extra .2 on the final stretch alone.

That said... I didn't use it.
I actually took a little bit of time to run the Super license S-8 test just so I could get cote in a powerful car without any tcs.

Also, guess what!
I have my replay.

I also have word that AngelX's replay is good. 👍
He sent it to me to get it checked before the results went up.
Nice going there angel, keep it up. 👍
! but watch those down shifts... you could have been faster with a similar lap and better shifting!

Anyway, here it is... my lap. :D
Later.

btw, great work div 2.
Lots of you were here this week and it made for a great race. 👍
Thanks for all of your time and effort.

Edit:
Um yeah, Unified, I had no clue you were rolling that fast without an xport.
By all means, please post your analyzer data. All of it.
Avg. speed.
Sector time
T times
all that crap.
Thanks!

I used TCS.. For the most part driving witout it was fine, but i found with it on, you could go through more corners at Wide Open Throttle without getting wheelspin, ressulting in faster splits. And I dont have a X-Port, but am more than willing to post up analyzer data, just tell me what you want up: Speed, Lap Time, Sector Time, Sector Aver. Speed for each sector? (From replay analyzer)
*Edit*
Also, in the analyzer it says that my Lap Time was 1'26.655 and not 1'26.684 like displayed on the replay icon.. Is that normal?

Good on Angel for sending his in. Was he able to send a backup time as well? My 1'28.9xx is wall-free (based on my watching it six or eight times using both logger and "start-x-start-x"), but very close in a place. I would've enjoyed the chance to send it to someone for a second set of eyes, but it didn't seem right to send it to a competitor and I wasn't sure that I should bother you with it. As it turns out, I've watched the 1'28.9xx this morning and am still convinced that it's wall-free, but it would've been nice to have had it checked ahead of time as I also had a 1'29.3xx that was squeaky clean.

Just wondering about your thoughts on pre-deadline replay checking as it has come up for me before in the past where I found it difficult to be sure and ended up submitting a slower time simply because I wasn't convinced that the faster time was clean.

Edit: have uploaded replay of 1'28.9 lap as well as the 1'29.3, as it's fast in different places.

I'm using the graph in the logger to determine, if there's a wall contact. Even a small brush shows as a significant notch (word?) in the speed graph. This week I ditched a lap were I couldn't see any wall contact in the replay in the logger, but the speed was dropping 0.5 km/h, and the notch in the graph was significant. Note that this notch can be hard to see, if the the graph section is to wide (to stretched out). If there's no speed drop, I conclude there's no wall touch.

Hey not bad for 1 session early in the week :) I'm happy 👍

Lucky I got Driv3r I say :sly:

@Kent ... slight mistake in my time on your behalf :dopey: I submitted 1.27.042 you posted a 1.27.024 ... no biggie other than it doesn't match my replay time :D

Congrats to Unified and all the other division winners

Here's my replay :)

I'm very surprised that I won, I knew that there was still tons of time to be gained, but I just always managed to hit a wall on a hot lap! Had I done more racing, I probably could have got into the 1'26 range. But, I was really frustrated, those walls kicked my ass. TCS and ASM were the only things keeping me from turning this into a game of bumper cars. Difficult track, and a difficult car. Made for a very challenging race!

Sector times for my fast lap:
T1: 24.032
T2: 1'05.765

Well this was my first week and I'm pleasantly surprised, it was a fun combo, looking forward to taking part in more events.

Don't know if someone mentioned this to unified, I didn't see it, but there is generally a discrepancy between your Analyzer time and your record time, in the order of 2 hundredths of a second generally.

great race guys, congrats to all those that participated. ill take a look at some of these replays and see how i can improve my shifting.

(here is my replay)

Great racing everyone 👍

Did anyone in Division I use TCS?

Yup, I had TCS on, got in my clean, posted lap, then tried turning it off again. I was getting up to a second ahead of my TCS ghost, but couldn't keep off the barriers in the section before the Rascasse. :grumpy:

Congrats to unified and all the superfast division 1 guys, and the other podium spots as well.

Only got to work on this Monday evening, and it shows! I'll have to try a few laps with TCS on to see if it would have helped.

NielsG
This week I ditched a lap were I couldn't see any wall contact in the replay in the logger, but the speed was dropping 0.5 km/h, and the notch in the graph was significant.

Yeah, Cote is notorious for it's "invisible" walls, though they are found on some of the other tracks also. In some places the physical effect of the wall is not aligned perfectly with the graphical representation, so you get the effect of scraping the wall even though there is a visible gap between your car and the barrier. A good example is that barrier that juts out from the left, just as you're completing the last right turn onto the straight. If you drive by there slowly and try to force your car into the barrier, you'll find you can't get closer than about a foot (0.3m).

And belated congrats to NeilsG on his much deserved promotion to div 2.

You Bet!!! I pretty much can't drive an Arcade Ride without it.

:D GREAT Job ALL!!! Using as Neon Duke calls it: "The closest thing to a "Shifter Kart" in the Game" (albeit the Arcade Version) on IMHO the most technically demanding Course the game has to offer!!!👍...UB57 :D

That is why I ran without tcs from the start.
It was only in my peak of frustration that I would think about turning it on, which I did do from time to time.

Luckily I was able to get one "good" clean lap with 0 tcs so my efforts were not in vain.

About the analyzer data above...

I didn't notice anything too odd, although the lap had nearly identical data to my lap in a few areas.
I also noticed that in a few areas you had a faster time but very close avg sector speeds.

Will post a comparison, but unfortunately a comparison with my lap doesn't go too far since I was over a second behind.
Still, the comparison will be posted for the public. :D
Catch you guys later.
edit:
btw, it's looking more and more like I am the only div1 racer not to have used tcs. :sly:
(just saw ub's post :D )

Its my very first race here at the weekly series but I'm statisfied about my time because I do not like Monaco that much.
