Big Fun & Big Frustation = racing

:)

T2:32.755.Still looking a 3-4 thents to come of 👍

Still got problems with the corner in the first tunnel because when braking, the whole weight of the car is lying to the right so that makes it harder to turn into that corner. :ouch:

You approach the first tunnel at very high speed in 5th gear, so here's what I do: when braking don't go hard on your brake pedal, but brake shortly 2 times, while going back in 4 / 3d gear so you have a little slide onto the left kerbs in the tunnel. Works for me. Also use the right kerbstones before braking then you can aim much better and have a little more control over your car when entering the first tunnel.
At least your T1 split should be under 14. sec if you practise some more time..

Hope this helps a bit.

I had a 56.765 or so, but failure at the sharp left. I hate the wide butt on this car.

Ah se Sjaak,ne nederlander.Die zie ik hier wel veel ma ik zen ne Belg! :)

:yuck: This car is truly a child only a parent could love.... It's uglier than sin, and has the behavioural problems of Damien on a combination of crack cocaine and Red Bull!

Struggled to extract anything like a respectable lap time out of it.
Have a best clean save of
T1 14.214 (have seen as low as 13.8)
T2 32.173
T3 57.110

Submitted before it got me any more frustrated. :grumpy:

Had a chance to run this a little today.
Managed a 57.026 T3 with promises of high 56's.

Leaderboard current to this post.

I will not be able to post x-port replays for the next two weeks or so.. My PC died yesterday. :(

Hey all!

Glad to see some of the faster guys are helping out a bit. 👍

It seems that most of you are enjoying the race. :)

I still haven't put a single effort into getting a competitive lap this week.
Ran once or twice to see what you all were doing, but I haven't sat down with the combo for long enough to work on a good lap.

Maybe next week, but for that I have been making plans... And so I will not be officially participating in that race either.

In fact, right now the largest chunck of my game play time is going into tuning various road cars.

If my mood was to dictate the next 3 weeks of race selection there would be 3 consecutive weeks of highly modified/ low power road cars.
Straight off the top of my head and my garage...
1. Fullly modified nsx type s zero (no power mods/oil & break in only).
2. Fully modified tuscan (no power mods/oil & break in only).
3. Fully modified evolution 5 (no power mods/oil & break in only).

That's about it from me for now, but I have more for later... just have to take care of a few things right now... Will be back soon though. :D

Till then,
:sly:

Funny you should mention the tuscan. I was just running a mostly-stock speed 6 in the tuscan challenge last night, it's a great car. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but how about a speed 6 @ seattle for this week? I need to learn seattle better, and it'd be nice to do it in a well-behaved car :) ... my $0.02.

damn it, I won't be able to send my time to kent in the next days, seeing now I'm at a friend's home and tomorrow I'll be in journey with school for 2 days :(

I'll post aswell a replay when I can get back at home ;)

Sounds like some good choices for a Midfield multi-lapper. ;)

For Patrick, last update. You do a great job with the leaderboard 👍

Not enough time for me, and unhappy with my time so far. Sorry. I'll mention what I have later.

Same for me. I was really hoping to get to run this again and try for a podium spot in D2, but it looks as if I won't make it home in time to do so. I was easily .5 up on my current T2 time in my last session after I turned the TCS off which would have put me in good contention for top spot in D2. :(

Time submitted. 👎
