EVERY division (1, 2 AND 3) has great battles for the top time at T2, each with 2 racers within a tenth of each other.

Good racing for the last podium spots and through-out the entire range also. đź‘Ť

Update:

13.907 :ouch:
51.134

Don't think I'll get lower this week.

Edit: In the Castrol Mugen.

I'm finally back home and I ran 8 laps yesterday in the Castrol (I like its green color much more than the Arta's white/red).
Best clean : 13.6 / 52.5 but I need to find a better way to brake. I usually do it too soon and too hard.

First good clean lap, not too bad, not sure if my time after T2 will be good enough though.

Arta NSX

T1 - 13.589
T2 - 50.821

Has anyone else noticed that when you get a really good section and think you may have potential to turn your best time and then for no reason you mess up a corner that any other time you would nail perfectly...I HATE THAT! I turned a 13.3XX T1 once and for no reason misjudged a corner after it and ruined all my effort. This is why I can only race 10 or so laps at a time, after that I start hurdling controllers across the room.

Sheit!! I hate the first turn, and I love too mash it in 125-128 km/h
New sectors: Mugen NSX

T1: 13.406
T2: 50.771

Tonight Ill lay down a tight and neat new sectors, mmm :ouch: First some reahersal with my band.

Ran my final laps here tonight as I am just a bit too busy with BC4 at the moment so time submitted with 13.273 / 49.639 but a small improvement at the line đź‘Ť
Good luck to all
Laters :)

Switch over to the Castrol full time now...

Haven't yet managed a quicker clean but ran a lap some 0.6s quicker with a touch, and just now ploughed the car into the wall just after T2 which was on a run 0.3s quicker at T2.

Both runs were only with average T1's, man I hate Turn 1 ATM...

Seen only one 13.2xx, but seen lots of low 13.3's, one will stick before end of week I hope...

Time update with the Castrol
T1:13.457 :yuck:
T2:50.002 đź‘Ť
still have a few tricks up my sleeves aiming for a 49.9 by the end of this competition.Still anyones race.

For the last few days I've been racing the castrol and got my best time last night so far:

T1 13.340 and T2 49.997.
Keep on screwing the final corner up though...not carrying enough speed through the corner.
SO FRUSTRATING!
Chris

Yeah it's a laugh sometimes...

Turn PS2 on, cross the line, nail first corner 13.318... then because I'm not in rythym yet next corner = wall. lol

Then turn a 13.589 ---> 50.267 then touch the wall after T2
Then a 13.5xx (with small touch), 50.6xx into a run some 0.75sec quicker than my 50.340 clean overall...

If only I could cut and paste...

EDIT:

New Clean... in the Castrol,

T1 - 13.460
T2 - 50.394

Slower T2 than last clean but faster by 0.4s, would've been quicker but went just a tad too deep with braking on last corner... :(

I also butchered a 13.298, 50.289 run just after T2... :(

again, first time to race on saturdaymorning:

castrol
13.856
52.837

Arta
13.725
52.007

The Arta feels more stable to me

Now all i need is more time!

13.989
51.778
arta

Please feel my pain...

Just butchered a clean T2 50.146 which came from a 13.610 T1... it makes me both laugh and cry...

Oh well that's it today, time to drink free beer at a Xmas function, will attack again tomorrow...

Its a fun combo, when you get that flow.I actually didnt think i`d like this..
Castrol Mugen

T1: 13.502 :yuck:
T2: 50.439

I still havent found, what Im looking for..
Incridible first sector Tuff!

Div 1

Leaderboard updated.
Might be the last time. I'm going to be gone the rest of today and most of tomorrow. I'll also most likely just submit the time I have already.

@ Monty, Thanks for the compliment, but I think it's easier to get a faster T1 with the Arta. I did see one 13.1xx in the Castrol when I tried it though. Best T1 for the Arta was a fluke at 12.997. Saw one 13.0xx as well as several 13.1's. If I could just drive the rest of the track that well, I'd be set. ;)

@ Tannis, amazing times as always.

@ Sjaak, huge improvement there buddy, nice going! đź‘Ť

Great sectors Tannis and a stunning lap time đź‘Ť
Congrats mate you made my lap look like it was run in a mini

Too busy to rerun so thanks for a nice lesson on Tokyo driving đź‘Ť

Ran 10 laps and came away with a pretty sloppy but clean 50.5. I'm pretty sure if I had been running this all week, that I could have made it into the 49's. I think I may have lost upwards of .5-.7 in the final section though, so I'm expecting to be in low D2 position with my time. Just not enough time for me to put a good effort in with Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping.

Just obtained these with the Arta:

13.590
50.431

Seen a better T2 of 49.9 but mucked up the rest of the lap when I saw the fast time!! I will hopefully submit a final time with a 49 T2.

Just obtained this with the Castrol Mugen NSX:

T1: 13.548
T2: 50.521

And my final result is just submitted.
Division 3 driver / Don Mejillone.

See you all in Week 93!

Gosh !!!

I'm still at 51.6 for my best clean lap, and only one more evening session remaining. I need to improve by more than 1 sec to lap within div 3. times.
 I gotta update my sig and promote myself to div 4 !

flat-out

Well at least you won't be alone :)

submitted my time....

So much for the "more practice this week" theory. Went up to Tahoe on Friday after posting my previous splits on Thanksgiving. Spent the weekend snowboarding, first outing of the season, and my God do I ache now!!!!!

Waiting on a FEDEX package before I head out to work, so sneaked in a few laps.
Dropped down to 50.3xx in the Castrol NSX before returning to the Arta.

Now have clean save in the Arta NSX with
T1 13.463
T2 50.272
which I'm a tad happier about. đź‘Ť

Will try to squeeze a couple more 1/10ths off there this evening before the deadline too.

I feel ya, I went snowboarding for the first time ever on Saturday at Big Mountain, Montana. My arms are more sore than my legs from getting up after falling down so often.

As for this week, I thought times had to be in last night, lol. I may have some time to try for a better submission tonight. I've been a little faster in the Castrol, but they are very similar.

Nice T times Tannis:tup: , i thougth they were almost impossible to get but i've also done it.:)

my T Times:.
T1-13.253 đź‘Ť (13.143PB)
T2-49.358 PB:tup:
I think i've lost arround .100/.200 of a second :yuck: on the 2 right corners after the T2 split, i think i was a litlle bit slow.
Good luck for all:cheers:
Time submited
