I hear you on the "room for improvment" thing.
I can put down a 22.7 (best yet) and for some reason, that lap will have the same t2 as any other 23.2.
Its getting old, but its encouraging in ways.
When Im working and hit a certain time, then hit a t2 thats almost a full second slower, yet end up with a final that is faster... it makes me wanna go back to the game after Ive sober'd up and work till I feel like a fool once more.
btw, I managed a newer time that cemented my suspicions... I did hit a 1.02.5 early on.
Just now I hit a 1.02.4.
Sadly, it was on just an average t1. (if not a slow one.)
I think the thing about this course is doing what someone mentioned before... piecing the puzzle together.
There are so many sections with nasty turns that gaining time seems to always be possible. (yet always out of reach)
Anyway... Im done for the night, had my share of racing and booze. Luckily its a day off tomorrow and racing will continue.
'till then
forgot to mention...
idafc, you've progressed well and are now a great racer.
I was with you guys throughout weeks 22 and 23 (as well as since the begining) and noticed you did an excellent job of racing those weeks... low turn out or not (just in case your modest and woulnt admit it), the few laps I did with the shigeno at seattle told me that your racing has improved quite a bit. Well done.
