The Car: Viper GTSR Concept. Arcade mode car only.

The Track: Grand Valley Speedway II (REVERSE)

The Race: Hot Lap>Arcade Mode>Free Run. Get your fastest lap time.

The Rules:

1. Keep two tires on the track at all times.
2. Rumble strips are part of the track.
3. No wall touching or wall riding.
4. No cheating of any kind.
5. No hybrids.
6. No short cutting.

Time Discussion: All "T" times.

The Deadline: Monday at Midnight (Mountain Standard Time, USA) the 29th of December.

When submiting your final time, please include what division you are racing in. Thanks.

Ugh.. Grand Valley.. Definitely not my favorite track or car, but i'll definitely give it a shot. And maybe i'll get my time in this week and not fall asleep I just love wakin up two hours after the deadline

This should be a good week. I'm pretty good with that car, although I'm not sure I'll even be able to compete (kinda getting online through parental restrictions as is, so I'm not even sure that I'll be able to turn the PS2 on...)

Good Luck to everyone for this race. I just got myself a wheel, so any time I take with GT3 will be to familiarize myself with it. If I find the time, I will try to post a comparison of a run with wheel and a run with ds2. But as of now, im still much better with the ds2 so it might not be very concluding.

Well I'll use this occasion to wish everyone happy holidays, and I hope most of you will stuff yourselves with plenty of food! Its the time now! ... just dont overdo it or you'll worsen the power to weight ratio Take care guys

The car is very easy to control with both of them off.

I did try this, and have little issue but the occasional lock up trying to get past the first chicane. I don't know how things will go in the end. My best is 1:17.2?? The car looks massive but is deceptively agile. Makes me overly cautious, I think.

When I was racing in a recent OLR comp. we used this car on this track, but forwards

T: youre right there mate, it is a deceptively agile car and is best used with ASM and the TCS off
cant remember the the other sector times but my best T1 is around the 23.4 mark

I ran a lot of laps tonight, just couldn't beat my current best. I got a bit faster from my previous best, about a four tenth difference.

dang, my times aren't anywhere close to those (yet). I haven't raced in a while, so I'm shaking this thin layer of dust off that is getting everything all messy (I can't seem to find any good lines...). I should get a decent time in by the week's end, hopefully...

So far the best T1 time I got was about a 23.2xx. Cant remember T2 times. The best T3 time I got was about a 1'17.2xx but I screwed up the last turn which ruined my lap time. So far the best clean T3 is about a 1'17.6xx.
