I was hoping they were. Last time I drove this car I remember I smoke the rear wheels into 4th with no driving aids. 800hp + 1020 weight....ouchh!

ASM and TCS are your choice.

i did use TCS but i was could accelerate faster out of corners with out TCS so i wont be using TCS. also i can flick the car around better through corners.

my first 10 laps work is

17.685
51.254
1.09.258

i get a little frustrated though as i could of shaved at least .5 of t3 and 1 sec off total but it understeered to much. ARG

Turn the ASM off. The Speed 12 is tricky enough under acceleration - the last thing you want is the ASM generating artificial understeer/snap oversteer as well...

I figured that - its a bit fake with the ASM on

Famine, thanks for putting that arcade thing up. Got the car.. Very nice ... It feels good to drive, but the wheelspin isn´t so nice.. I drove the race about 5 laps, got T3 of 1´09 or something like that. More times later.

After 8 laps, i got these sector times: 17.661/ 51.606/ 1:08.983. It wasn't easy trying to keep 800 HP planted w/out TCS or ASM.

Wow, this should be a good race.
The car is hard to handle, and jumpy around the corners from my experience,but I've never raced it untuned, os this should be interesting. Also, @ Famine, don't get too cocky, I've beat you out the last two weeks and I intend to only improve my times.

Well its no ASM or TCS for me today - or at least no ASM
Does anyone use the bumpstrips to their advantage ? I find that its really tricky to get the turn right but (as long as its legal) if it goes right then they are a bonus !

oversteer? huh? How about "no steer"...haha

At first the cr seems to have mega understeer, you turn the wheel the car goes stright, to use the NASCAR term...mega push. However the more you drive it the more you realize that the car actually has rather nice steering and turn in, albeit limited, but nice for such a giant car. The issue is registering speed with this car. Most other cars in the game when they are going 100mph you hear the engine working and get feedback from the road. To make this car go 100mph the engine is barely at a prrrrrrr so if you go by engine sound and feel you will be going into the corners 20-40mph faster than you want to thus the massive understeer and jamming on the brakes.

This car is all about being subtle, stay calm and focused, otherwise the car will eat you alive like the monster it is.

Plus the negative camber on a few key corners at grand valley doesn't help the matter at all.

Tke the speed 12 to the complex string and run it around there for a few laps to get the feel and then go back to grand valley.... you'll notice alot of things.

boom (or whoever came up with this race)...very tricky car/track pairing! Very tricky! Very sly. Very good match of options to highlight driver skill (which i seem to have less than i though looking at my sector times over the 30 laps I did last night).

hahaha...Well only really one section of curb tends to yank you in the grass at grand valley, you know the left hander on the top of the hill after the second hairpin, the others play nice.

The negative camber, or no road camber, in places is what helps less.

Drove about 20 laps with the car, and I just realized that it understeers very much. It´s hard to drive fast with that. I don´t have a saved time yet, but my T3s are about 1´08. How can you guys drive so fast with this car? This week is going to be hard to me.

Maybe I will improve, I don't really care. The car is way, way, way hard for me to control.

Im guessing the people at tvr set up the 12 with a bobsled steering system just because once I get going I can't turn the front end. If this car is in any gear besides 1st or 2nd, I can't steer it.

I don't feel so bad now...hahaha

My best T3 last night was around 1'10.7xx My best T1 was around 17.6xx and my T2 was around 54.x I think...NOTHING to brag about.

But ya my experiences with turning are over 3rd and you just gotta forget it, then again the car DOES do 120mph in 3rd.

Also doesn't it make the most aweful horrid noise in 1st AND when you hit the rev limiter in gear....it sounds liek a tin can full of pennies....
