I was just looking at weight distribution of the '07 and '10 WRX STI.
The sedan ('10) has 60/40 and the hatchback ('07) 55/45...
How can the hatchback have a better weight distribution?
I thought the sedan would be better.

Does anyone know if this is a fault in the game or actually true?

The hatch back if you notice has more weight over the rear end due to have more body work and interior panels. This holds true for any Wagon/Hatchback compared to it's Coupe/Sedan siblings.

Alright, but isn't the sedan longer and heavier?
The higher weight of the sedan must be in the rear, because the front and middle of the car is the same as the hatchback...

No, Usually the sedans are the same length as the hatchs. The hatch back has 2 more quite sizable pieces of glass a bunch of body work and bracing on top of have an existing piece of glass moved further back. The hatch if it were smaller it would only be +/- 1-2 inches not enough to make 5% diference in weight. It's all in the fact that the Hatch has more bodywork thus having a higher weight due to this and it balances the car better.
