(This seems a better place to put this.)

Right, how the car handle before pit stops is brilliant but everything else is not.

No pit lane limiter to press before entering and exiting the pits. (A must for a racing sim)

No engine that can blow up if you push the engine or change down the gears to quickly. (A must for a racing sim)

No graphic during the race telling you the gap to the car in front, behind and the leader. (A must for a racing sim)

No way of picking the amount of petrol you go out on track with. Either during practice, qualy or race. (A must of a racing sim)

There are more.

and now this tyre/pit bug thing, that you can't have a proper race because of it. It has been in the game since it came out and PD don't even acknowledge it. Gran Turoisimo isn't a Racing sim and never has. At the moment it's at best, a bad arcade game.

Stop advertising cars for car companies with your game. No one wants to know what the inside of a Toyota Yaris looks like while playing a game. We can all do that in real life, you tit. We want to be stuck in the middle of a pack of cars driving down to Eau roughe in the wet. Were you can't even see where you are going because of the spray.......and it's getting dark......and all in cars none of us will never be able to drive in real life and probably never even see in the flesh. I can get up of the sofa right now and look into the Yaris across the street.

Stop wasting time with drawing out the yaris and the countless cars like it. Spend the time putting things into the game that are fundamentals........ Oh and maybe spend some time on FIXING ANY MAGOR BUGS BEFORE RELEASING. **** ME SIDE WAYS. Every time you guys release something it's ****ed. Since PD went online with Prolouge everything that they released has been broken. It's not even like other are having difficulty releasing an online racing game without fundamentals not in place.

Sometimes I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with all this PD ****. Wise up PD, you have dishonored yourselves.

Recently me and some friends encountered a bug during online racing on which our car's performance and rear tire wear was substantially affected after entering pits to change tires. This has hapened to me during practice, Qualifying rounds and race.

We ran an LMP Group C endurance race on La Sarte, using RS tires, i was runing with the MAZDA 787B and using a G25 wheel.
On my first stint i was running 3:03.*** constant and hiting a top speed of 375kmh on the mulsane.
After the 1st pit stop on lap 9 (on wich the tires were in good shape and same wear F/R, just neded fuel) I've noticed the car started handiling strange, very unstable during braking, lots of understeer, constant rear tire squeal even on straights, top speed down by 5kmh, and the rear tires only lasted 3-4 laps after becoming undriveable but with the front tire stil on 90%. My times droped to 3:07's on the 2nd stint, then to 3:09's on the 3rd stint with increasingly bad handling.

Afther that frustrating race, i went to another room (wardez room) on which they were in practice mode with the SHV GT500 car on zusuka. I did a few laps hiting a good time, then i decided to change tires, afther that the car was feeling really bad to drive (lots of underteer) and was doing 2.5 sec slower than my previous times, afther that i exited the track and re-entered and the bug was gone! was able to hit same times as before and the cars handlig was normal.

Finally did some testing alone to confirm this issue, on which the test results where positive :nervous:

So, am i alone on this? am i missing someting?
Is this "bug" or performance issue after pit stops is on purpose?
What is it caused by?
Does this bug affecting everyone?

Resume

Cause:
-this bug only affecting in online mode, afther a pit stop (tire change)

Consecuense:
-
Bad car handling (understeer, rear tires loosing traction, unstable under braking)
-Increased rear tire squeal.
-Decreased top speed.
-Rear tire wear increased by 150% (only rear)

PS: This bug is more noticeable with faster cars and using racing soft tires.
I also have this but its normal because its part of the enduro but I have solutions for this.

No, it isn't normal.
Sorry im talking offline mode. Apologies. But heres some solutions

1. Make sure you run Racing Hards because they have longer tire life but if only there was Super Slick Tires from GT3.
2. When you are in La Sarthe, ensure that when in rainy weather, continue using Hards.
3. If the weather is unpredictable, use Intermediate.
4. Dont use Mediums, Softs or Super softs especially in some tracks like La Sarthe

Hi all,

Rather good news this time!
For the first time since the release of gt6 my Celica gt300 car manages to have the Same topspeed on the long straight at Fuji before AND after the pitstop. That is 240km/h.. Before 1.07 there was a negative difference of 3km/h..
Also the squeeling of the tires after the pitstop is as it should be..

So could it be Pd finally worked out the pitstopbug? I hope you guys can confirm that tirewear also has been patched..

Yes yes yes! YES! Happy day for GT fans. Let the show begin!

Playing solo for a bit and the weird tire bug is gone.

That said, I haven't tested with the A-spec enduros (or intermediate compounds on wet tracks for that matter).

BWX
No, you're acting "like as arse" for quoting an OLD POST trying to make it sound like I was wrong or something when obviously at the time it was still broken so quit playing dumb like you don't know what I am talking about.

Freaking kids these days. :dunce:
Does the age of the post really matter? I'm just telling you that it's already patched and you should be happy about that. But instead you get into a hissy fit. Stop being an arse dude and cheer up.

Just ran my Celica on Fuji (because i already have 5000km of testing with this car here) for 10 consecutive Laps before and after a stop.
All the laps i ran were 37s except for the warmup-laps..
Before 1.07 it would become 39s/40s after a pitstop. Tirewear seemed equal and i didnt really feel a difference in handling before or after the stop now.

I do understand bwx.. If it wasnt for the the good community i race with, i would stick to my pc as well. Now i'll truly enjoy both again.. Assuming it is truly fixed, still hard to believe :)

Pitstop bug is not entirely fixed, it's changed but not fixed, handling before and after pitstop is now closer to each other than it was.
Please go online room set to real all possible things there, put tyre wear to normal or higher and use Brands Hatch Indy track and stock R8 Phoenix with RS tires WITHOUT ANY HELPS, no ABS or anything.
Do several laps before and after pitstop and post your feelings here.

Tell what you feel on these turns?
Turn 1, right hander down.
Turn 4-7 chicane combo.
Last turn to start/finish straight.

Curb hit feelings also. (Turn 3, and also on combo chicane)

Thanks.

i haven't tried it yet but guys in my endurance serie confirms that it's gone. I'l have my usual race test today 1:20mins long so i'll check myself later today

A different sort of pitstop bug, but three times tonight the computer has decided I should sit back, relax and insisted it'll do the driving for me. On each occasion, this happened after leaving the pits in an online room. Quite funny to watch, but its lap times were several seconds off my pace once I finally was allowed to actually, you know, drive in the real driving simulator.

The computer's pace itself was actually far better than anything I've seen in A-spec or Arcade mode, it was mostly trying to deal with traffic that lost it time.

Just did approx 70 laps on online room of tsukuba with Audi ultra Phoenix stock on RS tires, no ABS or anything.
Car is feeling lighter before pitstop, even tire squeal is lighter. After pitstop car grips harder and is harder to keep on constant lap, and tires will lock easier, breaking is heavier, sound of sliding and braking has more deeper sound, like bolding sounds.

Constant lap= low 54

Testing was done on 7+7 or longer sequences.

Hopefully someone with good senses goes and test this too.

I hope you have video! :)

So they actually implemented B-spec mode without realizing it... :D
