Weird pit penalty

Did the daily race on Daytona just now, and i got a weird pit penalty... Right as i got control back i got a penalty for cutting the pit line, although i wasnt even in control and my car didnt even cross the line anyway, at least if im looking at the correct line... The penalty is just about exiting the pit lane, right? Or is there a line you cant cut while entering too?

I’ve gotten this too. You have to be careful on your entry, you can’t cross over into the infield too early you have to wait for the lines into the pit to open up.

No, just don't turn in too early. Use the oval as a reference.

This white line shall be your reference.
Do not cross it. Havent dont this race with pit penalty enabled, but this is the one thing I guess is the reason.

You can get a penalty for crossing the line on entry (penalty issued at exit) or exiting the pitlane
