Aren't you even getting a PS3 for this game?
I'll be getting a PS3 for the game... not for the demo ***runs for cover***

No honestly, between GT3 and GT4 I had bought GT Concept, then a special Geneva 2004 demo, then GT4:P...
But none of them was half as good as GT3 was and I was always a bit disappointed. So I'm now buying only complete games, no more demos, prologues, or any other unfinished stuff.
I'm really looking forward to GT5, but I'll stick to Forza2 in the meantime, at least I have 300 cars, 50 tracks, custom paintjobs, (sort-of) damage, etc. Enough to keep me busy for a couple of months.

Top Hat
He used to be Flat-Out.
Indeed, and 99% of my posts are in the WRS forum.

Congrats to the 3 of you.

Well, I feel a bit ashamed because I haven't been really efficient as a mod over the past few months. Perhaps due to the fact that I'm skipping GT5:P and playing Forza while people at PD are finishing GT5.
Gotta be better in 2009.
That's okay, I've played a total of 3 hours of video games in the past 6 months.

Roo
Not Pupik!? He was like the Stirling Moss of GTP mods - always on the brink but never quite there...

I'll add my three addaboys to the mix.

Now get to work and clean up this house. It's been getting a little dusty.

A bit late but congrats all three of you, I only just noticed this thread.

I'm surprised there's been no "I for one welcome our new robot overlords" yet.

:)

Duke was an Admin long before you were born.

Or at least for quite a while, anyway. :P

Where does administrator fit in? Is that above or below moderator rank?
It's actually below, but they have a big opinion of themselves and think they're better than us.

The heirarchy goes
Owner
Admin
Super Mod
Mod

Der Alta and I have been admins for a little over 3 years. Jordan brought us on board when his previous admin, Alt-F8, was unable to spend time here any more.

that reminds me.., over on my thread Red-Line (see my sig :sly:), Smallhorses made some good comments on my race report, then one day, I saw something different. I looked clearly at Smallhorses' avatar, "That's not right" i said.., i posted this: \/

@ Smallhorses - wait a minute, a few days ago, that's a GTPremium bar below your avatar.., now it's.., oh dear.., :nervous:

i was shocked to see Smallhorses become a Super Moderator.., i know he's a great guy, considering his reputation and contributions to GTP, but i didn't expect he would be this great to become a Moderator.., congratulations..,

Movin' on up Nick, congrats and same to you Jerry! GL in the future!

This sounds like a silly question, but, what do admins do?

We're basically like supermoderators, except we can make more changes to user accounts than SMs can. We can also change the forum and board organization, though we don't do that unless Jordan asks us to/approves.

So basically, less powerful versions of Jordan? :)

Hahahahhahhaha...nice way of putting it...but that places the supermods in that category aswell lol.
