Well Textured Car List

I have to disagree on this here:

The Holden Monaro CV8 is actually looking pretty nice. The door lines are well intact when viewing it on a PC screen. Cars like the Saleen S7 should not be on this list, to me, it's one of the most horific textured cars ever!

then you must not have had to cleanup the front of a monaro. there is so much wrong with the front such as: all around the fog lights, the line between the front bumper and quarter panel, etc...

94_XJ, LMracer and TuneRvision, those are added.
If somebody thinks some of these aren't well textured, please tell me so and show a picture in phototravel/photomode.

The Plymouth Cuda 440ci/6bbl '71

I can't really agree. Buy a green one, take it to photo travel and look at the white "hemi" logo at the back. That's a crappy texture. Rest of the car is ok, but the logo's on that car really stand out so i don't know if i'll enter it except if somebody can change my toughts.

The Buick Special stock rims are nowhere near well textured so don't add that. (That's my only gripe for it.) They look like shiny bumpy circles attached to the car when I take it to GT Auto. The Pontiac Tempest GTO is very well textured. Please add that.

Did you see the shot he entered for the tournament, pretty awesome IMO.

At the first, change rims it's as simple as that. All stock rims are crapily textured in race. They only look good in phototravel whilst still.
I think i can agree with the pontiac so i'll add it.

You convinced me SL 500 and 600 with this shot

I believe the 190E is pretty good too so i'll take your word.

The Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car is a very clean car.

The Ford GT LM Race Car is pretty sharp to

As is the Audi ABT TT

The R8 looks EXTREMLEY well textured but on mine, the wheels seem to go through the wheel wells when making very sharp turns.

The Pescarolo C60 is a fine looking car as well but it has the same wheel well problem as the Audi.

These are some cars that have some complex shapes and body work. I imagine that they were a huge undertaking but PD did a great job on them! Kudos to them:tup:
I'll post some road cars with great textures later on.

I disagree on the first two, for instance, look right of the headlight of the GTR Concept LM, kinda bad shading going on, and the hood of the Ford GT LM is really bad, and the C60 has bad shading on the front and near the number. but the rest will be added as i admit they look great 👍

I don't think the Ford GT's (the newer ones) should be on that list, most of them have horribly jagged taillights.

The Corvette Race Car (the old silver one) is a very well textured car, imo.

As is the Celica SSII cars (the 1999 model), and especially the Trial Celica, which has only a problem with the front wheel arches, apart that is almost perfect.

 How they make the racing edition of the Ford GT less textured?

Now for contribution.

Mitsubishi FTO LM Race Car.
Toyota Supra JGTC's of course, especially the 2002 Castrol Tom's Supra.
The Subaru Impreza's, old and new ones, look almost the same as they do in real life.
Mercedes CLK and CLK DTM.
Opel Astra DTM. But the rear tail lights light up differently than they used to in GT3. :( Has nothing to do with textures...
Nissan MM-R, especially when painted "Nismo Silver" as I like to call it. :D

JGTC Supra's have really bad hood lines, it takes a lot of time to correct them if you want a close up of the front to appear decent. Apart from that they're pretty good, yes.

Thanks for the contribution guys, keep giving them and i'll keep adding and correcting them, no worries.

Sorry for the DP but LOON i added the one in your un-edited post so i'll correct it.
