What are the *small* additions, that you want to see in GT7?

Disable cockpit wobble

I don't like either options and they're just distracting to me. An "off" option to make the cockpit stiff like in GT Sport and PS3 era games would be nice. It's surprising this wasn't there to begin with on launch. Why force players to have a wobbly nauseating cockpit camera?

Level 6-10 for cockpit sliders (or just better sliders in general).

It feels like I'm a 4 foot tall person with my face glued to the steering wheel in more than half the cars. In reality my head would hit the roof in a '73 911, I should be able to replicate that.

ABS controller tuning part

Basically would function like the brake balance controller. Allows you to adjust ABS while driving and also set it per car tune settings page, which would allow you to have certain cars or tune setups with it set off, while others with it set on. Without the part installed the car would take whatever your default ABS aid settings are set too.

Ability to change your own car for custom races after you've initialized the event. I don't see why we should need to back out to the main menu, change car, then create another custom race with the same settings just to change cars. If we can change opponent cars after initialization, why not our own?

The ability to select the realism rules for career racing such as Shortcut/Collision penalties and damage incurred on your car.

I do my best to drive well but often I do driving mistakes in heavy traffic.

I like this suggestion. It would allow you to make the easy races more difficult and the more difficult races easier. It would let players customize their experiences.

  • Open face helmets for driving classic race cars,
  • saved livery name in your garage, instead of the car's name/type,
  • being able to save decals from other player's livery design layers list,
  • option to select an owned car in the livery editor directly, instead of going back and forth editor and garage,
  • set weather/time of day options in time trials yourself,
  • option to disable the infuriating 'reset back to track' in time trials,
  • Use the pit box in time trials to change tyres and tweak car settings and ride back out again, instead of reloading the session,
  • more front/side/rear custom parts options for the F3500-A,
  • use custom helmets for AI drivers in custom races,
  • local machine storage of decals and liveries, so they don't get lost when support ends.

1. Sharing tunes for cars (as an example, our racing group have different classes for cars all with specific tunes, so people have to create them, type them up and everyone has to then do the same individually)

2. Creating custom groups for cars (similar to selecting by manufacturer etc, could we "select by our own group i.e a 550pp group" we've created and assigned ourselves to a custom group

I'd like the ability to use more settings (e.g.: BoP on) in time trial mode.....or the option to see your live delta in lobby mode when practicing.
I'm sure it's already been said, but extending the grid size to 24 or so, at least in the major online events, would be nice.

In some cultures its considered rude to sell or give away "gifts", thats why GT has notoriously been weird with the gifts.
So is that like a cancel culture thing? Boycott GT7!!! They allow selling or giving away a digital car, this must be stopped. That’s not the reason Kaz gave for not being able share/giveaway tunes. His reasoning was he thinks screenshotting three pages and then further typing in more info like rim size, tire width and offset is more than sufficient and quick!

Rebalance the roulette wheel so that it gives at least twice as many prizes.

Be able to add extra penalties to career races.

Be able to sell parts won in the roulette wheel.

Have the option of the camera on the hood in VR.

Return of endurance races.

Return of B-spec.

Improvement in GT Sophy.

Increase the number of daily races to 4 or 5.

Make it harder to reach S level in the sports classification.

Make it possible to skip some animations.

Gridlines on the power/torque curves' graphs.
It's very annoying to try to guess at what RPM the power peak is and where it starts to drop sharply. I think this is an useful information for optimizing gear changes on cars such as the Subaru Impreza, which revs to 8.5k but power peak is at 6.5k RPM.

A PSVR2 replay option which puts me in the driver's seat, seeing the car and world in 3D, able to look around.

(The current trackside "VR Replay" is rubbish, so if my suggestion replaced it, I'd still be happy.)

I recall that in GT Sport, if you went into the settings for each car, it'd list the specific type of transmission it had, like if it was a CVT, DCT, and so on. I'd love for the next game to have more immersive transmissions, in that you wouldn't be able to simple pick between AT/MT and then have it apply to all cars. Instead, it'd be dependent on the car itself, complete with the ability to map a button for the clutch on a controller. There could even be an option in the settings for a car like the Ferrari 458 Italia to either be run as an AT, or to use the paddle shifters. Of course, there'd still be the option to simply install something like a full-customize racing transmission, which is more or less a sequential MT.

I'd like them to redo tuning parts shop and group parts by category and not level. It would be better to see all suspension options on one page. Just grey out them if you have not yet opened them. Would be easier to compare and see PP gains on different engine parts too.

I'd be nice if you could gain multiple tickets per day from the 'marathon'. Keep the starting 28 miles for the first ticket then every 100 extra additional miles you drive that day gives you another ticket. It would be a nice little addition to help entice players to keep playing.

1) Daily Login Bonus (returning from GT5/6), with it capping at 150% after 5 consecutive days to match the clean racing bonus.

2) Chase Camera Sensitivity 0 option (returning from GT Sport). Honestly, why was this removed? I enjoyed my pseudo-GT3 camera, and Sensitivity on 1 just doesn't feel the same.

3) Car Handicap Bonus (returning from GT5 Seasonals/Sport). Many events in GT7 can be won with cars well under the PP limit, notably the lower end events such as American Sunday Cup 600 and Japanese FF 450. Why not encourage replayability as well as player challenge by rewarding them for, say, winning the Turbo event (a 700PP event) with a 600PP Skyline? In return, their credit reward increases by 20%.

The amount of time between that change being implemented and players setting their consoles to rubberband Tomahawk/SSRX all day would be so small as to require an entirely new definition of the minimum amount of time possible in the universe.

Also it's 26.2 miles (well, 26.22 miles; it is possible to reach 26.2 and not get the reward yet), the standard-ish length of a marathon. Hence the name.
