Watching Notre Dame getting booed off the field :)

I'm currently drinking some coffee that I made at home using a French press. I have never used one before, and I'm surprised that it came out alright. Too bad the coffee is a little old, and I didn't really put enough coffee ground in, otherwise, it would have been pretty darn good (better than from a drip machine).

Pan-seared sliced beef heart. Trying to work more offal into my diet – luckily I discovered that the local Food4Less sells even more cuts of offal than the myriad asian markets that we have.

I've already warned you guys of the imminent apocalypse. It is up to you to read and reflect. I shall post it once more:
It's not your place to warn anyone.

Fiat, that was directed at the easily pointless posts I believe, eating sweat or ice cubes for example.
Something as simple as a bottle of Pepsi isn't noteworthy enough to post about, either, unless it's the very first Pepsi you've ever had or you haven't posted in this thread for a while.

And by "a while" I mean more than a few days.

Big Bear's Bistro Burger. Recipe: hamburger, balsamic onions, bacon, brie, and garlic-mustard mayo.

Had a corned beef, swiss and thousand island sandwich on rye bread at work today, was delicious. Washed it down with a root beer float. Best part about working at a restaurant, free food.

Mmmmmmm :). This place is the stuff, if anyone has one around but hasn't tried it. It's a self-serve yogurt shop, quite delicious!

Have you used the press since? How is it better than drip? I've been thinking about getting one ever since I started watching Dexter a couple of years ago ;)

Making iced mocha coffee: 3 tbs sugar, 3 tbs creamy chocolate creamer, 1/2 cinnamon stick. Stir often so it doesn't stick. When it's done, I let it cool a little, then pour it into a 1 gallon [tea] jug. Set it in the sink with ice packs to cool it, then in the fridge it goes!

Dinner: Grilled chicken breast, macaroni 'n cheeze, and cukes!

So last night due to the blackout I had an unplanned meal of sashimi, because I had fresh salmon in the fridge but nowhere to cook it  and running out of time before spoilage. I should probably do that more often - half a pound of salmon sashimi feels infinitely more filling than half a pound of cooked salmon.

That's quite memorable. You could open up a stand when there is a blackout.... though there will be nowhere to advertise it... hahaha.
