Canadian thanksgiving so pretty much turkey everything. So far I made turkey sandwiches, turkey wraps, and plain turkey. If you can think of other turkey meals or ways to incorporate turkey please tell me because I have at least 15lbs left lol.

Well, the best has to be turkey curry, but you could always do turkey pie (shortcrust pastry case, chicken gravy, carrots and peas), served with mashed potatoes. Mother-in-law does deep fried turkey and chips on Boxing day. What about turkey enchilladas?

I never tried curry at all what is it really to incorporate turkey into it? I gotta keep all the meals super healthy, but enchiladas might be good as I could do them in a wrap with some salsa, peppers, tomatoes, etc with cheese on top.

Just had ham, garlic mashed potatoes, along with beans and carrots. Can't wait for the apple pie. Happy thanksgiving everyone!

I ate like 10 clementines once. Had diarrhea for a week after, and terrible stomach aches. Don't do it.

Diarrhoea for a week is a bit excessive - you should have really seen a doctor depending on how bad it was. As they say "too much of anything can make you sick".
I remember once when I was very young I acclaimed a sudden liking of bananas. It was... a painful experience.

It was a week until back to normal, not necessarily extremely bad for a week. I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling like my stomach expanded more than it should, with those acid burps thag make you want to gag. Terrible. Bananas aren't the best thing to have too much of either, nor is anything else. That's why it's "too much".

That's a lot of turkey!

A curry is basically like Mexican food, but with flavour. *Flameshield up*

It uses lots of herbs and spices to create lots of nice flavours, and range from nice and mild, to blow your head off.

If you haven't had a curry before, try this mild one first: chicken korma.

If you like your food spicy, try this one: Chicken Madras.

And just serve them with boiled rice and a pitta bread.

Or go for the other mild ones like Phal, Vindaloo, Jalfreizi or even the little know Tindaloo. A Tarka Dal is quite nice - it's like a Madras, just a little otter. :dopey:

:anesthetic:

Bah, here we really didn't kill natives more like took their land, made them live in reserves, abused them, let the quality of their drinking water equal that of a toilet, abused some more. Stopped doing it, won UN awards for having the best country to live in 7 consecutive years, then paid huge settlement to natives. By the way, I'm eating mini sandwiches.

A few ounces before bed keeps the dreams sweet. Love that strawberry kick... best cheap wine ever.

Yes, but what did you have for breakfast? :P

My mum likes that too. I prefer this... best wine ever.

Breakfast, a nice, moist, warm, large, meaty, juicy sausage..

3 of them to be precise.

You clearly don't mind us know your sexual preferences and I admire you for you openness. It's a brave move in this day and age. Respect. 👍

Hmm... Don't think I've ever had that. My uncle is part of a wine club so we'd drink what gets sent. Beringer's white zin is just something you keep for a quick strawberry swig-- it doesn't really go with much.

Also, Jai, the innuendo got old the first time you did it. What is this, the 6th time you've went on about your sausage? Give it a break.

Do it, you won't regret it.... apart from the fact it usually costs as much as Champagne.

(That's proper Champagne not cheap Sauvignon passed through Touring Mars' soda stream!) ;)

In these days it is especially difficult for people. His openness is a inspiration for people like him. 👍

I ate wieners and beans for lunch :scared:.

Risky post? :scared:
And I thought my post was bad!
