Oat/flax porridge with berries, banana, Greek yoghurt, chopped almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and a drizzle of maple.

Pretty heavy, but a perfect breakfast after a mile. Gonna have it again next morning.

KFC chicken, without fail, always upsets my stomach for some reason. Last night I treated myself to a Zinger burger and this morning I’m already feeling the rumbles in my gut.

These things are super addicting.

I snatched up a bag when I picked up supplies to build a gate. Southwest, I think. The jalapeño flavor and butteriness was fantastic.

...

Grilled off a couple salmon fillets and some carrots. Dressed the carrots in a pesto made from their own tops. Is that mean?

Presently nursing a Paloma made with Espolòn Blanco and fresh grapefruit juice.

That reminds me of my “greek yogurt” breakfast after morning practice in college. Of course, yours looks way better tasting and healthier.
Mine is still heavy in calories. I’m a big guy and I should be cutting back the oat to reduce carb intake. I may substitute a higher flax to oat ratio.

Chili cheese hot dogs and Arby's fries.

this looks like it came from a college kid’s blog from 2009. Looks good, though :P

Old phone camera + poor kitchen lighting + me never caring about plating presentation.

And they were good. Got the dogs from a smokehouse in Michigan. Not sure how they went unnoticed in my freezer for so long though.

After reading the posts about these, I was happy to see them at my local Kroger. Wow, these are way better than the kind of pretzel I am used to. They are not as dark as most pretzels, and the salt on these is much better than the average pretzel.

After sealing the bag, and re-opening it for the third time, I had to put it into the cupboard to get it out of my site. Damn good!

Hey Subway sandwich artist, make me a Spicy Italian, and anyway you want.

Seriously?
Black olives are good, but...

I don't do Subway anymore at all. At Subway, you have to order double meat just to get what all of the other places are doing without an extra charge. Firehouse, and Jersey Mikes get my business.

Don't forget that the Subway comapany covered up a child sex scandle involving their marketing icon Jared.
I haven't eaten their food for years.

Oh, come on, no need boycott Subway, they are mostly owned by family franchisees. I don't eat there any more because Jarrod is a pedophile, I don't eat there anymore because, comaired to the compitition, they suck.

I need to get some things from a local butcher sometime.

Not exactly local. We were on vacation in Michigan, brought the stuff back home to Chicago.

They do ship orders outside of Michigan, but last I heard this Covid shutdown hit them pretty hard. I hope they make it through, we are planning to go back up there when things go back to normal.

I'm on an intense diet to lose muscle mass and some fat(I' don't gain fat really so it's just muscle I'm concerned about) My diet is a hardcore version of a Very Low Calorie Diet(VLCD) I call mine the Very Low Calorie, Carbs, Fat, and Protein Diet(VLCCFPD) I've been up for 5 hours and haven't eaten a thing. I've drank coffee and smoked cigarettes though. At the moment I'm working on re-hydrating my body by drinking lots of water though. The diet is rough because you start urinating too much because the body starts breaking down glycogen stores in the muscles before it breaks the amino acids down themselves. As such the glycogen is cleaned out in urine making you have far too frequent visits to the restroom. For dinner though I'm eating one 3/4 cup serving of brown rice and one 1 cup serving of pinto beans.

For moral reasons I don't eat big chain meat from the four giants of the food and meat industry after seeing horrifying videos of how farm animals are treated. Some big chain farms(the supplier of fast food beef) trap cows in milking machines and keep a permanent hole opened in their belly where they stuff grass into(because the cows don't get to live outside and be happy and comfy) while milking them till their breasts get hurt and inflamed. It's sickening in addition to the group electroshock or impact crush kills on pigs ugh!

The only animal products I eat are from *certified humane*(with the certified humane label of approval) eggs, and milk. It costs extra but I don't consume those much anyway so it doesn't break my bank. Vital Farms is my preferred egg source.. they are certified human and on each pack of eggs they provide a farm name that you type into the vital farms website where you can see the exact hens that laid them while they're happily roaming outside.

Dinner was a salad with corn, radishes, onion, a can of tuna, pepperjack cheese and ranch dressing

It was pretty good.

edit: I did not eat the can.

Cooked up some pork liver with onions. Browned onions in cast iron, then put sliced pork liver in with a bit of ginger and birds eye chili, salt and pepper with the fire turned down. Tossed some green onions in a minute or two before it comes off the heat. Had some quinoa salad to go with it as well.

Why are you depressed? I've been kinda depressed lately myself but now I'm in some odd mania phase and i can't sleep well without lorazapam.
I started to worry about my father and worried for 14 days. A month before I couldn't sleep for 17 which is exhausting and considering that my brain was still trying to adjust to a live without meds, all these things together got me over the edge. The first 14 days, I started to get better but a panic attack, 4 days of fights with my father even burned down my brain even more and from then on, I started to get deeper and deeper in this depression.

Are you serious you didn't sleep 1 wink of sleep for 14 days!!! My longest time without any sleep whatsoever was 9 days! Getting off meds is a daunting ordeal I went through that before. I'm sorry about the stress and the situation with your father.
