Sometimes Spotify spits out something really great that's completely new to me, as it did this on a playlist I had going. I love The Youngbloods and the original song, but I also love Screaming Trees and this left me gobsmacked.
Man, I miss Mark Lanegan. It's wild that he's gone and Jesse Colin Young who did the original 55 years ago is still kicking.
So a friend of mine who is a fantastic Jazz drummer from Wales has a new album out.
All written by him with his friends playing and providing vocals. Think spiritual Jazz. It got release the other day so I’ve put my order in for the record. All the sleeves, booklets and art inserts are hand painted by him and him alone.
