They finally released an album, and it's some really amazing stuff.

I'm so awful categorizing music, so forgive me. Would that be Death Metal or Thrash Metal? Or something else? Either way, I never really got into this particular type of music. I enjoy such an incredible range of music. From Beethoven to Motley Crue to The Dead Kennedys to Peter Gabriel. If it moves me, I don't care what genre its in. There is one thing that I find interesting about the genre of music you've posted. The bands who play that type of music often have some of the most talented, musically gifted, incredibly technically proficient musicians and they don't get the credit they deserve because their songs aren't "radio friendly". It's unfortunate.

Team by team, reporters baffled, trumped (sic!), tethered, cropped
Look at that low plane, fine, then
Uh-oh, overflow, population, common group
But it'll do, save yourself, serve yourself
World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed
Tell me with the Rapture and the reverent in the right, right
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam fight, bright light
Feeling pretty psyched

It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine

I flew across the country from Massachusetts to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend this show. It was the final show in his 3 year World Tour and I figured, at his age, it would be his last. He proved us all wrong when he went back on the road after the release of his album, Old Ideas. I wasn't upset because that just gave me more chances to see him perform and I took them! :)

Javier Mas performs a wonderful intro for this song:
