I just finished Taylor Swift's Evermore album.

I'm currently listening to Lana Del Ray's Chemtrails Over the Country Club album.

Then only one more album to go and I've listened to the 1,089 albums you must hear before you die.
I hope listening to half of the song willow counts. The melody wasn't very memorable or catchy for me.

Joni Mitchell - My Old Man

Catchy or not, I've been on this mission for a damn long time and I'm not going to half-ass it now!

I might give this a go instead since the Joni album above was already on the list.

I've already loaded the King Sunny Adé and Duke Ellington albums onto my tablet. Adé's Juju Music is pretty great so far.

I could already cross the Tito Puente, John Coltrane, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Ramones, Michael Jackson, Public Enemy and Nirvana albums off of that list.

11/25 isn't a bad start.
Quality > quantity, one would hope but I'm also going for the also rans as well. I have a lower attention span and want to hear them all before I die or give up. Life's too short to listen to music I find dull or don't enjoy IMO.

With the album journey over, I'm now listening to a podcast called "The Soundtrack Show" about movie and video game soundtracks.

I do enjoy a good score/soundtrack

For me a good one is if it can stand on its own as a piece of music/album without the visuals. If it doesn’t then it’s dud.

I also dislike soundtracks that have multiple tracks for short periods of time, say 1 or 2 minutes and there are around 30 or so total tracks that just sound the same.
