Listening to these two David Bowie albums back-to-back for the first time. They're different mixes of the same LP. Kinda prefer the UK man in dress cover to the US cartoon but much prefer the new title (his original choice). I've heard the original mix and it's perhaps a little indistinct in places (although not as much as Exile In Main Street on a couple of tracks) so I'll see what the Tony Visconti 2010 mix brings to the table. Mick Ronson's Hendrixesque guitar playing is really great, especially on opener "The Width Of A Circle".

Next up is Hunky Dory which is my favourite of the Bowie albums I've already heard so far.

When Muhammad Ali was trash talking his opponent Smokin' Joe Frazier prior to their March 8, 1971 title fight, among the litany of failures Ali called him out on was that his music was awful. Now you can decide for yourself after listening to Joe's October 1969 single "Knock Out Drop" / "Gonna Spend My Life".

Also listening to Deniece Williams's 1976 debut album This Is Niecy again. I'm not surprised she wanted to make more albums with co-producer Charles Stepney. Regrettably he suffered a second, fatal heart attack shortly after making this record and Earth, Wind & Fire's Spirit.

Air's debut EP Premieres Symptômes and album Moon Safari are a great relaxing listen so far. I bought the album around the time "Kelly Watch The Stars" was in the charts but never got around to listening to it until now.

New Order's 1989 and 1993 albums Technique and Republic©.

Technique was excellent in terms of bangers-to-fillers ratio but my old boss is a massive New Order fan and has just advised me on Facebook to skip Republic and listen to their 2015 album Music Complete instead, specifically "Academic". I'm a sucker for punishment so will give the extended version Complete Music a go instead.

Strawbs - 'Til The Sun Comes Shining Through. I only listened to this album 'cos it had Rick Wakeman on. He's not even on this track but it's the nicest on the album imo. Frontman Dave Cousins's solo cut Two Weeks In Summer is also worth a listen. Anyway, see what you think.
