what car do you drive and how does the car feel

When I drive a stock r34 it feels that it has good settings and feels good when turning, but when your really push it, you feel that isn't no problem, but the car turns outside just by himself.

I use a fully tuned BWM, its perfect for power-over drifting
suspention is really stiff and set camber to 0.1 in the rear
and away i was going side ways
i really suck but doing great,
and it feels great

I never limit myself to just one car. All the cars in any GT game have individual characteristics so it seems a crime (to me, anyways) to just drive a favorite over and over. As a guideline (but not a rule) i tend to drive cars that are under-powered or have some other flaw like a Camaro with its poor handling. I don't like easy wins in GT sim races...

Gidday, I love drifting my fully tricked out RZ Supra on Complex String.
Its gotta have sim tyres and manual box. Good fun!!! :)

you can only drift with a manual gearbox DUH. Automatic suks

And I drive the BMW because it's my best drifting car, I have other don't drive them to much

you dont need manual to drift i use auto with a dual shock controller and i can drift in all my cars.

THIS THREAD IS PROB DEAD BUT GOT MY SUPRA and its unpredictable and hard to control but fast as its got 1000+ bhp smokes after changing every gear. i love it great for medium angle racing drift

Don't like 1000bhp to much power for me :D 450 BHP in my BMW is plenty :D

ps I'm trying to drift in GT4 and it's much harder to gkeep it going and keep it undercontrol, it must be the slow steering :(

A thousand horsepower of ANYTHING and the car is pretty much drifting you you're not doing much but keeping from a constant spin...like you said, it's hard to control and unpredictable!

Fantaman: It's true: you can drift with an automatic (tho i prefer manuals) in GT3, specially cuz the gear you're in can be held, even if it's auto (just hold down your up or downshift [R1 or R2 or whatever] as you brake & drift...the car will not hop out of gear as long as you hold this button down. My apologies if you already knew this.

yea i already knew about gear shift trick but dont use it i just keep my revs up, and yea the supra pretty mush drifts me but its fun, most of my drift cars have between 400-bhp and 800-bhp but my fav is prb the s-tune r-32 has about 850 bhp. what sort of drift do you do and how you do it i like fast low angle heaps of smoke thats what the supra does best and i normally just do a straight line braking drift or a feint

Well that's the bottom line: it's fun! And it requires skill. I don't care what anyone says, drifting requires just as much skill as grip-racing. I tend to use a bit of both techniques as i race.

Real typing is encouraged on GTPlanet. What you have displayed above is not.

I have removed your second post as:
1. It's a double post (also not encouraged).
2. It's nowhere near the topic. But I'd suggest this will help you. The Search function is not a weird, arcane mystery operated by voodoo priests.
