Alright. Anyone who has any suggestions, take a look at the first post. Look at the time that it was posted. Do you think that the original thread starter is watching this thread waiting for an answer? If you say yes, you might want to check again...

Edit: Or someone could lock the thread... that would be a simpler answer. (Not to tell mods what to do, just if they didn't see it yet.)

I won using the Camero LM Race Car with Soft Racing Tires

Edit: Sorry i didnt realize that this was such an old thread, it's just that I finally won this race last night, one that was probably the most annoying race I have come across in quite some time...

For those of you apologising for posting in this thread recently, please don't.

As long as posts added to an old thread are relevant and add to the subject its not a problem at all, the only time 'resurrection' is a problem is if a thread is brought back and nothing new is added by the post.

Look at it this way, when you are searching for information its far better to come across one good thread that contains all the information you need, than have to hunt it down across half a dozen threads that often repeat themselves.

If any of the staff want a thread closed then we will close it, and if a thread is brought back for no good reason then we can send it back and speak to the member responsible. Should you believe that a thread has been brought back for the wrong reasons then use the report button to let us know.

It's been said in this thread but is worth repeating: The Chaparral 2J (the one that looks like a washing machine or doorstop) in the Tsukuba Wet Hard race wins comfortably. I spun off and still won easily. And it's 200 a-spec points.

So true. The 2J will indeed plunder the AI's proverbial buttocks.

The 2J is one of the less talked about cars in the game(who knows why)... im glad it is getting some recognition. It looks really cool, and once you learn how to drive it, its a blast!!

Quick question did you get 200 A-Spec points using the 2J? I used an "out of the box" Camero LM and got 200...

350Z LM Concept doesn't work, trust me..
You'd save a lot more time saving up for a LeMans or a Group C.

I use a Toyota 7, and was almsot not keeping up with the Minolta, so at aobut the end of the 1st lap, i rammed the car at a corner and i tried very hard to hold my first position becasue my Car was quite lacking in torque.

What i suggest to make your life a LOT easier is to keep reentering the race until you are up against an Audi R8 because that car accelerates less than the other AI cars they set (Minolta and Sauber).

The 2J is an easy 200 A-spec points in this race.

It didn't occur to me to try the Camaro LM, I'll have to give that a shot. Should be doable but not an easy race, I'd guess.

Slightly modded GT (balancing, deplacement an wemi-racing suspension) and Mustang SVT Cobra with (fully customizable suspension, racing brakes, racing exhaust, stage 2, fully customizable lsd, racin fly, triple clutch, stage 2 weight reduction and R2)

on my second time through gt4 and this time i used the toyota rsc rally for all off road special conditions and i used the zonda lm race for all road with no modifications to either (except dirt/snow tyres on rsc)

i know the zonda is overkill for the easy and normal but i am trying not to spend any real money untill i have to.
