I really wish they were less obsessed with GT-R's. But anyway i want to see a '85 300ZX Turbo on the cover. :)

It's gotta be the DeltaWing! :D

I was gutted when it retired from Le Mans. :(

Which will likely be the SSC Tuatara after it stomps a mudhole in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

no chance bud, Veyron will get a successor anyway (it's more luxury than racer, america doesnt no luxury)

Nope, my eyes are fine.

Interestingly enough, I only wear glasses for my lazy eye :ouch: .

You do understand that 3/4 of them cars are not production models? None of them look half as good as the new Quattro off the production line.

Sorry if I offended you i didn't mean to just trying to have a joke:nervous:
No offenses taken. If I'm honest I was trying to have a joke with you too 👍 .
If I had photoshop or paint on this computer I could get that to look really quite good, but with just paint... :grumpy:
Try www.pixlr.com. If you don't have or can't afford Adobe Photoshop then it's a really good alternative as it still lets you do some good effects like this one:

(Linked because technically speaking it's off-topic)

Well done Captain Obvious

They shouldn't even put a car on the cover this time, maybe an engine, a shot of a clipped curb, a gearstick set in sixth gear or just a helmet or whatever, something a bit more original.

I'd like to see two cars on the cover: The Shulze Motorsport GT-R and the Huayra (Hopefully it'll be in the game)

Ok if Porsche is in the game
The 2013 Porsche 918 Spyder Martini
If not,
The 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish

No 918, EA still own that one as. Carrera GT, GT3 4.0 or Cayman R and I wound be happy

EA owns the rights to all Porch, so if they can get a Cerrara they can get a 918.

Turn 10 couldn't, proto not production and think they just went for production models

T10, to my knoledge, purchased the rights to Porsche, which would include the 918 if they wanted to.

Seems odd they didn't include one of Porsche great break throughs (theoretical replacing the GT) even cayenne and panamera which aren't racers we're added

But the Cayenne and Panarama were also major points for Porsche. I agree it's odd, but that is what T10 did. Why did PD include the base Veyron instead of the SS?

Released after game was released, plus long game delay + no spare time = missing loads. Veyron been out 10 years, ss is 1

No, there are some models that were off limits. I can't find the post but basically they couldn't model any Porsche cars they wanted.

Than that was Turn 10's choice.

The 918 was an EA exclusive, similar to the new 991. EA commonly maintains such licenses that excludes other developers from utilizing certain models, obviously to provide an incentive for their franchise, since they arguably can not stand on their own merits as a car simulation with any depth.

Therefore, regardless of T10 being able to utilize certain Porsches, those exclusives - and possibly others - did not fall under the license deal. Until that license period for exclusive use passes, they will not appear in any other developer's franchises.

That was the same situation that occurred with the Huayra. EA held that exclusive license for a certain period of time during the car's early introduction and, only after that period had passed, was T10 able to offer it as DLC.
