What causes a car to wobble when braking in a straight line, and what tuning adjustments can reduce this?

if a car always wobbles when heavy braking in a straight line, what does this, and is there a tune that will reduce it? Thanks.

It could be that you don’t have enough traction in the rear. Try increasing rear downforce, or shift brake bias towards the front of the car. You can also try lowering the ride height or add ballast to the rear to increase the weight on the rear tyres during braking.

Reduce front downforce/ride height or increase rear downforce/ride height and make sure you are breaking in a STRAIGHT line

I find that increasing front bump & rear rebound a little can help reduce the weight shifting so much to the front under heavy braking.

Right, whats the tuning name for those two aspects?

Reduce front downforce/ride height or increase rear downforce/ride height and make sure you are breaking in a STRAIGHT line
Ok so you mean lower the front and raise the back as far as ride height? Thanks for taking the time to reply

Reduce the compression settings of the suspension, that should cure it.Also what car is it?
