You guys might want to be a bit careful about this. I feel duty-bound to mention the following clause from the Acceptable Use Policy:

You will not use these forums to violate any laws nor to discuss illegal activities.

I'm not saying that you guys don't own these vast tracts of software, I'm just pointing out that if you are engaged in software piracy, it's probably not that bright to parade that fact here...

Money, who needs money? j/k:mischievous::odd::banghead:

The stuff I use most often are the legitimately free stuff, like America's Army, or Zone Alarm(except my dad upgraded from the free to professional LEGALLY). We also got a copy of WinXP free when he went to a Microsoft meeting(XP Professional). Otherwise most of my stuff comes with the computer or collections over years. Sometimes I get stuff from friends to try out.

I just asked people to list their decent software. Not discuss software piracy.

Which is a fair question. I'm just making the point that respondents may want to consider their legal positioning before posting a reply.

Duo, you only have XP Home? hmm, I like my Professional, but once I get my own computer for college, I'll probably have LongHorn and Linux(waiting those 2.5 years until I start researching the different distributions again)

Yeah, it's only home, because I didn't feel the need to shell out another hundred dollars for a few extras.
