What *do* you like about GTS? From the beta

What do I like about the beta?

Couple of things really stand out to me, the framerate and the physics. Both are excellent and feel really great. They have managed to hit a really good spot between mega twitch of AC and PCars (on a controller) and the more forgiving more casual traditional GT games. I'm really happy with it and just wish the races were more often throughout the day and not locked to being on at the same time as the Grand Prix haha

Like the fact that the transmission whine is not too loud in most cars I've driven so far. I was seriously put off by many videos from the US Beta where that was the case.

Also like that I can race online without having to pay for PS Plus. So thanks for that PD!

The cars look amazing. But then they always have. Now if the tracks had 25% of that effort put into them they would look amazing too.

Like the fact that there are Road, Dirt, & Snow tabs with the ability to save 8 tunes per option. That's a step in the right direction.

Everything about the beta is awesome. I feel like we are really going to get a great racing game.

I wish arcade was still around but thats okay. Ive put thousands of miles on so many cars haha

Looks fantastic, it feels fantastic, and yeah there are a few nit picks here and there (why is it so hard to put down tire marks ) I just want to leave a mess on the pretty race track but overall, i am very impressed, ive been playing since day 1 it was released to public, and I am in love!

Rolling starts. This is basically a repost from the video thread but I thought it deserved mention here as well. I was afraid they'd do rolling starts with the cars just a few metres apart whereas they really needed to be spread out so that the only person you have to worry about is the guy beside you for the first couple of corners. It could be a little tighter for the short sprints but it's a massive improvement over the standing starts and now you can use any drivetrain without worrying about getting run over at the start.

In a 7-10 or more lap race I think this will work out quite well. As an added bonus it should have a positive effect on frame rate stability at the start of the race. Well done PD:tup:👍
