I'm gonna have to say that the Autobianchi is the worst Prize Car, you really can't do very much with it....
I don't know why, but I actually like the Autobianchi. I used it to win a race. I can't remember witch one though

For me the worst prize cars that you can win in GT4 are those that you cant use in simulation mode like the Nike 2022,Jay Leno Tank Car,Toyota Motor Triathlon Race Car,Benz Patent Motor Wagen,Daimler Motor Carriage,Ford T,auto union and all the other cars that you cant use in simulation mode.

I´m gonna say the Silverado SS! I ´m not a great fan of pickups, and the fact that I have to buy a pick just to win another, is upsetting! And the truckraces has to be the greatest loss in Cr. of all races, since even the cheapest truck is fairly expensive, and the small pricemoney involved won´t cover that. And that´s not all - the Silverado is a concept, and thus selling it will yield no money what so ever. :grumpy:

Other than that, the infamous NikeOne 2022 times two (:yuck:), is a major drawback as well.

Agreed!!! That and the fact that i can't sell them. And i'm pretty sure i recall reading all this somewhere prior to now. I could be mistaken though, i'm flat out remembering what happened yesterday.

Seriously though, i can't see any real point in having most of these, you can't do a friggin thing with 'em.

yeah the Nike car, and subaru 360 one make race. They give you the exact ****ty subaru but of a different color. Same happened in few other one make races, don't remember which, I think Alfa Romeo

Most of the cars you guys have named can still be used, if not in competition races then in arcade mode in a 2 player race or time trial.
This doesn't mean that they're not crap.

Citroen 2CV
Autobianchi Abarth
Fiat 500
Jay Leno Tank Car
NIKE One
Subaru 360
Ford Model T

All crap but driveable.

Mercedes-Benz Daimler Motor Carriage & Patent Motor Wagen

Not just crap but totally useless.
Yes they're a major part in motoring history but try driving one up the slightest hill or gradient, it will slow down and eventually go backwards.
Believe me they do!

The other cars can be driven but the two carriages...

...Definitely the Worst!!!

I thought I would say my 2 cents. The worst prize car ever given on the game is the Alfa you win from the 1000 miles! event. I know it is perfectably driveable and some may think it looks nice but sorry after racing for over 6 hours and all I get is that piece of rubbish makes it the worst. Even the carriages are better than that.....

Im going to go with the NIke 2022 in the Saleen cup, i actually like the car, especialy for photoshoots, but i already had it fomr before. I hadnt looked at the prize lists when i did this cup and i was expecting a cool saleen mustang or tuned S7, not another of the same car i had before. I was just a bit of a let down.

Esperante GTR-1, I really hate this **** car ,cause I saved 4,500,000 just for it. the result of that car was failed with honor:yuck:

AUTO UNION V16 Type C Streamline 1937 from the Grand Valley 300km race. Talk about a pain in the butt, only use is the nuremburg ring...

I don't have a definite least favourite, that's why i'm going to say all the concept cars, because you can't get money if you sell them, but the rally cars make up for that!

Audi R8: at Sarthe I 24 hr. enduro.

this car helped my bob with Sarthe II 24hr. dont know why but just could not win with the minolta or jag or clk race or fgt.

i dont like the 1000 miles prize car. all that work for a 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale. not very nice PD

My thoughts exactly. I was reading through this thread thinking, "What about that ugly red truck thing" They could leave trucks out of future GT games. "Gran Turismo" and "truck" belong together like "swordfish" and "ice cream".

In the late 80's SCCA had a Pro Mini-Truck series. The first season was the best with Nissan, Mitsubishi, Ford, and Jeep fielding factory sponsored teams. Limited to 4cyl rwd base versions, the competition was fierce, especially at tracks where drafting was an option. Good show! not like those silly Nascar "truck on racecar chassis" races.

I'd have to say that the area of prize cars is where PD failed terribly in my opinion!!

Firstly as has been mentioned getting the same car as the one you raced in (eg: vitz/yaris race, Aston martin race)... i really don't need two of the same thing!!!

Next the fact you can't get money for half the cars!!! grrrr :grumpy:

and Finally I think that they should have designed the game so that it could be completed without having to buy a car... the prize cars should all be useful and there should be sufficient variety to complete the game....

(I know i would trade my nike 2022's for any pickup truck!!!)

The game would far better if I could look forward to getting a prize rather than not giving a ****! because they are so crap

In summary ...

Nike 2022... 👎 👎 👎 :yuck:

The ford model T. Yea its cool, but you cant use it, ok you can, but it only goes a max of like 7mph and cant even make it up a steady hill. And to even get this POS you must gold the S license tests. I think you deserve more than that after all that effort.

where would the skill in that be. i like having to shop around to find the car i want. this is a game after all and the money is not real, so why not spend it. i do believe that you can complete the game with-out having to re-do a race like capri for extra money. that is definately a challange. IMO anyway

7. Nike 2022... 👎 👎 👎 :yuck:

1. Agreed. I have often thought about how I could have done it better.

2. It's annoying, but not the end of the world. At least some of these are special colours, and some of the special colours are worth the effort.

3. A bit of an exageration. I count 166 prize cars, 38 of which cannot be sold for money. That's less than a quarter. However, a lot of these are poorly placed in the prize structure.

4. Agreed, but with the emphasis on could. The road to completion without buying vehicles should be a challenge in itself. Example follows.

5. Nike 2022 awarded for winning Saleen S7 Club. How about changing it to a Saleen tuned pickup truck, with the Saleen S7 awarded for one of the races in the American Events hall. Thus, to complete the Beginners hall you would first have to find a suitable American car to go win the S7, then go into the manufacturers races to get the truck. Hardly an obvious route to someone on their first time through the game.

6. The game would be better if I could look forward to getting a prize rather than being indifferent because they are so random.

7. I don't mind it once, but twice and in inappropriate places is a bit much.

It actually goes up to about 55 mph and is a lot quicker than the Daimler Motor Carriage or the M-B Patent Motor Wagen. I agree with you that the car isn't exactly useful, but I think it's a nice price car not because of it's performance, but it's history. But if you manage to gold the S-licences anyways, then it should be no problem getting a very quick car:dopey:

The only cars I bought were for the completion of some manufactures races, in the others events I didn’t bought a single car.

I personally don’t have any prize car that I dislike; I only think that wining the same prize twice it’s a bit…:indiff:
I like Nike car 👍 (it looks like one off Nike’s shoes and no one complains about Nike shoes), the wagons are cool  , The Jay Leno Thank Car its one 🤬 of a beast, and the «Pink» (Its Peche and not Pink) Citroen 2CV its one of my favorites (I think it’s a classic car…and the PECHE color makes him special).

:scared: Oh, my bad, it's the Motor Carriage that I was referring to. I've never actually driven the model T, but I just assumed it to be the same.:nervous:

Like some of the people on the first page I find the Nike car useless. I think the 1886 Mercedes motor Wagen is cool to have, but really, you can't do anything with it. My two cents anyway...
