Thought about doing the same, but there will be league races starting up rather quickly. So, I will most likely be doing A-Spec right off the bat! However, when that is as far as I feel like going, I will work on all of those!

Also, I will install 30GB worth of awesomeness first! While I am at school all day!
Same here but to get used to the new physics for racing in a league best thing to do is do the licences.

- Watch the intro, reboot, watch it again.
- Play one race in arcade mode
- if frame-rate is not steady switch to 720p and race again
- If it's stady - actually relax, say "thank you PD and Kaz" loud and start doing some license tests.

Licenses
do lifemode
figure out with which car i can do as many different races and buy this car
figure out how to host an online lobby and invite my buddies for a Photoshoot event

go to gtplanet and open new thread and post them in there :)
go back to gt6 and turn off cell phone , facebook and do lifemode until my clock says " go to work !!!!!!!!!!!!! "

:D

For the first hour or so I will try out the new cars on the new tracks in Arcade mode-this will give a good idea of new physics and sounds. Looking forward to seeing night and day effects. After that then start A spec mode. Few weeks later I will go online and spend most of my time there on Nürburgring.

That is so true! 👍 You got me there!

I will need the unlock/receive all the cars I need too! Christmas break will be fun.

I will be testing damage and seeing if it stays on the vehicle.. while not totally necessary, this will allow me to "bond" better with my cars and make me feel like I actually own them

Pretty much the same thing I did with GT4 and GT5: Go to the dealership and admire the new cars added ... Then, play

Without a doubt, I'll be taking my Ford GT40 Mk1 15th Anniversary Edition to Deep Forest Raceway in Arcade Mode. I have fond memories of the MR challenge in Gran Turismo 3. :)

EDIT: TRAIL MOUNTAIN! My memories can't be that fond if I don't even remember the right track!

I'm going to take the KTM X-Bow to Silverstone in Arcade mode, then I'll cheat my way through as much of the A-Spec GT Mode races as possible with the cars from the GameStop preorder.

If its not revealed by the time I get my hands on it, the first thing I will do is check out all the events in career mode. Tracks and events make the game for me. Sound, cars, photomode, etc is all secondary. They can be fixed via patches. Events and tracks pretty much need to be on the disk on day one to be included in career mode.

Randomly browse through the manufactors, check how good are "standard". Than proceed to buy my first car. Most likely european.
