What DON'T you want to see in GT6?

So, what are some things you want to see EXCLUDED from GT6? I personally would like to not see the following:

NO "STANCE". Yeah, I know it's popular, for some reason. Resist, Kaz! Tire stretching, hood rust, and airbag suspension should be left OUT.

NO permanent engine damage. With a car list as extensive as GT's, making us endlessly cycle the UCD looking for our car of choice, only to find out that it has over 9K miles on the clock and is thus missing some power PERMANENTLY, is just cruel.

More to follow, maybe.

Technically, stance is just fancy word for camber modifications. I wouldn't want that to be restricted because that could potentially hinder tuning.

No it's not.
Okay. To specify, stance is when you modify the camber of the wheels such that it lines up with the body of the car.

In any case, you would be a lot more helpful if you wrote more than just "no, it's not" and then leave it at that.

No information is better than misinformation. Still, no that's hardly it. Stance primarily has to do with the height of a car. Camber is mostly used when a wheel is wider then it should be, then using camber would provide it to be flush with a fender instead of it poking.

Still, there are lots of things that come into play. Having a car that has camber =/= stance.

What's 'STANCE'?

First one good. Second one ugly/pointless

What's it matter if people want to "stance" there cars?

It brings me a laugh to my day and makes me feel better about my stock RSX with no goofy mods on them.

Downhill Dino
Wheels don't have to be flush to be considered "stance". It's just the presentation that matters.
Which is what I meant when I said I mixed the two things up; stance and hellaflush.

If its possible to tune it that way in real life, then it should be in the game. They shouldn't remove realistic tuning options just because you dont think its tasteful.

  • Experience points
  • Paint chips: give us access to all the colors in the game, and perhaps like Forza now offers, the ability to create colors
  • No Livery Editor - in other words, I want a Livery Editor
  • Race Mod only on select cars: Race Mod should cover as many cars as possible, and have plenty of options for creating classes and league-appropriate race cars
  • Course Maker removed
  • Replays overloaded with low camera angles and extreme close-ups
  • A separate B-Spec Mode
  • A limited Used Car Dealership: make it large, maybe as it was in GT4 with some sort of class, region of manufacture or age structure
  • Rabbit cars in single player races
  • GT4/Prologue penalties
  • Permanent engine damage, as White & Nerdy says
  • Weather and time of day on limited courses
  • If Standard cars return, to segregate them from Photo Mode locations and other things, treat all cars alike
  • Hidden assists, and an assist like ABS that has hidden assists with it
That's all for now

^ Good points Tenacious D and I would add to those...

-Experience points, just stupid.
-Paint chips, let us choice whatever whenever. At least be able to use the chip more than once
-Race mods, I want them on all cars dang it!!!
-Course Maker, pointless UNLESS they do something like a weekly (or even a daily) online time trials with a select car you must use for the world to race the current top ghost car, THEN I would welcome it (see that idea PD? start taking notes...)
-Used Cars, place them with their own manufacture (like GT1 and GT2, myabe be a good idea? IDK...)
-Engine damage (mentioned this in another thread) is just dumb and an unneeded realism in a game where you drive your dream cars only to have them not be 100% because you drove it 1 lap around a track. I want my virtual car's engine to perform 100% all the time UNLESS there's a true career mode...
-Hidden assist, it just makes players think they drive good and takes away from true skill.

Take out the ability to not fully counter steer (Or is it one word?? I forget). It just takes away the fun of trying to see how far you can counter steer

I actually like paint chips. What they do is allow us to paint cars in manufacture colours. For example, it's pretty hard to match the WR Blue Mica on Subarus. Ideally, we should have a colour wheel of sorts in addition to paint chips.

What! No course maker! Are you mad? If they enhance it with more tracks or start from scratch where you can choose the setting, type of track-city,cement ground, paved ground and on and on, other essential things.

Unless they improve it a lot or actually DO something with it (like make it part of the game instead of a side bonus), I see no point in it.
