What are the *small* additions, that you want to see in GT7?

Am I the only one who wants snowfall on snow tracks and thunder/lightning during rain? Those are only really visual for the most part so most likely performance is the only concern.

That would be great also! It'd look incredible, I bet.

All of these would make for good threads - or upvotes - in the Suggestions/Features forum, if they're actually things you want...

There are a lot of features they can implement without adding a single car or track.

Online Racing

• Shuffle Racing - great way to get people to race the road cars in the game. Bringing this back is a no-brainer.
• Lobby Tune Lock - Room host has a car with a locked tune, and everyone in the lobby has to select the option to match the tune in order to race. Gets people racing cars that are matched, and fun to drive (stock vehicles are often too slow, or their gearing too short, or too boring to drive to ever consider for league events)
• Member List - Gives the room host the ability to run a custom BoP. This was in GT Sport, another feature PD inexplicably got rid of.
• More BoP categories - PD already do this when they have supercar events at SSRX, they just need to enable a BoP setting that's reusable for players.

Online and Offline Racing

• Drag Racing - they have it as a challenge, how hard is it to dress up and add a knockout tournament that 16 people can smash out in five minutes. Or 32, or 64. It's only ever 1 v 1.

Other

• Give players the ability to buy dupes of cars from other players who own it. GTA does this, and it gives people an opportunity who missed a car in the Legend Cars dealership to actually buy it without having to wait a year to own it. Ridiculous.

That wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, and if there was an issue then this thread would be locked and not five pages long.

It's fine here as well, but the more organised (and PD-browsed) Suggestion forums is a better place for getting stuff actually seen than splapped into a random forum thread.

This reminds me, is there an option to automatically transfer host status to another user in the lobby when the initial host leaves? Forgot if they added it in an update. Used to exist on previous titles but not GT7. Would be nice if you could pick a host manually too.

• Option to equip tires immediately upon purchase in the race shop
• Option to set anti-lag setting immediately after purchasing anti-lag (am I alone or do others also forgot to set this setting?).
• Ability to set the name for a replay when saving it (maybe even a description). You may save a replay because of a specific moment in the race, but later down the line you may forget what you saved it for.
• A volume control override for specific vehicles? Most cars are at a good volume but the moment you jump in an '02 NSX with a racing exhaust, say goodbye to your hearing.

Dynamic weather would be awesome, thunder and lightning was in Project Cars, not sure why GT7 can’t have it. Although it can’t handle the sunrises and sunsets at Kyoto so maybe that’s why. Light snow at Road Atlanta would be great. Still want Spa in fall or just give us Autumn Ring and its layouts. We don’t have a fall colours track. Fog would be nice too, or hazy out.

We have fog - not thick fog, but there is fog at Le Mans and Nurburgring

I suppose, i mean fog hanging just above the ground. I might have to play with the settings and find that. We definitely have hazy.

How about in the livery editor being able to use carbon fiber for specific parts of the car instead of forcing it to be the whole car. It sure would be a heck of a lot easier to do a carbon fiber hood, or wing, or mirrors, or even wheels if we could just edit that specific part to be carbon fiber instead of having to mask around those areas with "decals" that are only offered in basic colors.
