Okay, I've been part of this forum for about two months, and it seems we have an interesting range of people here.

So, having established that not everyone here is a pale thin 20 year old geeky loner (not suggesting that that's a bad thing, and no, that ain't me) it has me intrigued what people do with their spare time (ie. aside from work and/or studies) other than play various games on their PS2.

I'll kick off - my main activities other than the PS2 are golf and bodyboarding (as in surf), and going to the gym (necessary evil), plus performing necessary maintenance to my relationship...

Me=16 year old smart kid who has no life now.

Spare time?? Let's see.........
I love sports;) I try to play sports as much as I can. I always try to play a little Basketball every night:) I like having sleepovers with friends, and love to play guitar. If I'm not doing one of the above, you can find me either on here or chatting on MSN;)

Hrm...I guess I'm the resident pale, thin, geeky 24 year old kid. Seriously, video games are my main hobby (other than Hi-Fi, which is also my job).

I'm a nerd's nerd!

I haven't taken the time lately to enjoy my hobbies, but when I do ...

Non-computer
Sailing, bicycling, running, photography, movies and dinner with friends

Computer
Web design, some chat, some gaming, some education ...

I'm attending school right now at UCA, and I'm working at Stone & Ward. I have a Bible study group that meets on Tuesdays. There are a bunch of guys that watch movies at eachother's houses on the weekends.

Lately I've pretty much been a slug, and with winter coming, it's only going to get worse ... (:

Let's see there's work, girlfriend, friends, movies, GT3, all other video games, GTPlanet, blowing leaves off my lawn, cleaning house, and music. That is pretty much in order too. I'd have added working out, but I only have one working hand until January so that's not really an option right now. (Up 18 lbs as of today. I had no idea that I ate so much until I wasn't burning it off. At least thanksgiving is over - now I diet until X-mas ;) )
Seasonal Activities include Kayaking, Canoeing, Waterskiing, Sailing (Catamaran) and I used to enjoy skiing until I ruined my knee ice skating in the city. :(
Man... I'm falling apart.

Well aside from PS2 and GTPlanet I play school sports. I play football and am trying out for the soccer team right now. I go on vacation with family practiclly every holiday. I love to go out with friends to the movies and having them come over and hang out. I also like going to the movies with my twin brother and his girlfriend along with me and mine. *he-he-he-he*

Hey man, it happens to the best of us. But you gotta love sailing that catamaran, I'm so jealous! I've got a 15' day sailer, but I usually go with a friend that has a nice 35' racing sloop.

Music is my number one thing.. I loooooooooooooove it. I'm a singer.. I take voice lessons and I sing at church. My voice teacher wants me to start singing for people, but I'm so nervous. Anyway, I also like to write poetry, read, and one of these days, I'm gonna go do that sumo wrestling thing.. ya know what I'm talkin about? I like doing fun and unusual things :)

Do you mean the type with those inflatable suits? That's cool, I don't think I've ever seen it before in real life though, just on TV and in movies. :)

yeah, and guess who gets to be oppsite to her... if she is nice to me. I am still deciding if i want too...

Oh, me, I am a musician... kinda in limbo though, I play trumpet, and am trying to find time to learn guitar. I'm also into Architectual stuff, so I often have visions of house designs, and scrible them out whenever it happens.

I probably have about 10 designs lying around. I mainly focus on my house which I plan to build within the next two years. Seeing my own house come together from my own hands is a real big thrill for me.

i also play bass in a band and will be getting back into snowboarding shape for this winter season here in the US. this is all on top of doing business development for my little production company Live Sockets Entertainment.

Well, my main activity is working on my real cars. One Im restoring, the other I maintain for daily beater duty and the other is a show/race car Im working on and spending on constantly.
My other hobbies are getting a car club started, computers and web design, work, and any outdoor activity I can get into.
My main staple is of course staying in shape, heck, Im old enough to be someones grandpa on here, so I gotta keep up with you kids. :D hehe
Im just now getting back to racing on the gt3 game and loving it. Its nice to see the complete ratio grow and my talent for racing the game increase. :P Maybe Ill even have time once again to do some challenges and races.
I stay busy, but racing in one way or another is in my blood. :)
Have fun.

Erm, well you've probably worked this out from reading my posts, but I'm heavily into listening to music, watching movies, working on my web site, and watching motorsport. I'd love to participate in all the "watching"/"listening activities, but I'm not very talented, so that's that!

Things I've not mentioned on the board are my love of cooking (at which I'm quite good) and photography (at which I'm OK, but getting better). I love driving, but after I got banned I became uninsurable, so we're knocking around in a very cheap French car that isn't terribly exciting! And I have a 1/18 (I think!) scale glow-fuel-engined R/C Subaru Impreza Rally Car, which is broken as I crashed it, and is taking a lot of work to fix.

That's about that really! I also look after the wife, who co-participates in 1, 2 and 4. She hates the amount of time I spend on 3, eats everything produced by 5 :) and thinks I'm better at 6 than I do, but wishes I featured people rather than buildings, cars and scenery. 7 she's very bad at, but likes the way I do it, and 8 she wishes I would do more as she's concerned I haven't exactly got value for the investment! Follow all that?!!
