^Wait, I'm confused, is that a good or a bad thing?

I dunno.. I'm very, very happy that she feels the same way, but... I can't last a relationship.. Plus, I'm a pitiful person..

"so-so friends"...

Do you trust them?

Certainly. They just aren't very close to me, although they are pretty close, and I can trust them.

Fallout New Vegas is taking ages to load and I can't even play at this point because of the lag! Is it because I have a game installing on the PS3 in the background? It is installing apparently since it's at 27% at this point and it was at 2% when I started.

1st world problems here:

On my iPod, when it's locked and I press the pause/play button it either goes to forward or back, which isn't a big deal with a song, but when it resets an hour long podcast and I don't know how far in I was I'm mad.

Technicolors
I guess..

I do feel a bit better now.. The only piercing thing about her is that she is intensely cute, and extremely kind..

You should be happy about that, i'm probably not the only one who would love for that to happen.

Today's gear grinder:
I'm watching the Bruins/Canadiens hockey game and a message pops up on the TV that says "The TV needs to change channels at 5:30 in order to record "Teen Mom 2"
I mean really???

Canadiens fans cheering when Bruins players get injured. It's a game... have some class.

They cheered because Chara hurt one of their players last year:

I just found out that my least-favourite teacher from high school - who absolutely hated having me in her class - is the person responsible for placing casual teachers at my old high school. Makes me wonder why I even asked after work there ...

These dumb online B-spec challenges. For the 400pp race, it recommends a driver of class 10, the one I'm using in class 23. I'm using an MG TF160, which seems like a good competitor. I've also tried the New Beetle RSI, and I just can't win the race. Second every time.

That's no excuse. You don't cheer when a player gets injured, especially not immediately after a player takes a puck/stick to the face.

Even though the Bruins are winning, they're still wayyy off form. Their checks are weak as anything and they 'misplace' the puck way too often. Predictable movements on the ice are wasting good chances to get shots at the net.

Lucic is playing like someone whos mind is elsewhere. Thomas is off form but has made impressive saves against wide-open slap shots, so hopefully he is on the way back.

They're habs fans, what do you expect? But that did suprise me as well.

PS3? Ouch. I'd burn the disc. You'll get more value from the warmth. I had it on PC. No matter how hard I tried to love it, crashing became so commonplace that even the slightest stutter would make me think "Oh god, when was the last time I saved?"

Grinds my gears that it's almost 1AM and I am still wide awake.

Sucks to be you huh? It's 5:30AM and I still can't sleep.. :dunce:

Huge Canadiens fan here chiming in, I agree, the cheering for Chara getting hit with the puck was ridiculous. Chara's hit on Pacioretty last year was also ridiculous, but it's been a year now. Enough. Booing him is one thing (Bruins fans boo Subban so whatever), but cheering when he took a puck in the face was classless.

As for what really ground my gears in that game, it was the refs. Just inconsistency and total incompetency. The two off-setting goaltender interference calls were just plain dumb calls (Thomas was like 20 feet out of the net, and the Bruins player got pushed in to Price), and they missed a lot of calls on both sides. The goaltender interference on Cole was BS, as was a phantom Bruins interference call in the 3rd (can't remember who got it).

It's a shame, because it really was a good game, but it would have been great had it not been for the awful officiating.

Yes, 4 goaltender interferences that game. The last time that happened was 2001. Maybe one of those calls were legitimate. The rest wouldn't be called 99/100 times, however they were called 3x in one game.

Ugh all I wanna do is watch a movie man. Just let me watch it. Of course Internet has to be slow as hell.

I've lost the remote for my radio, and that's basically how I control it. Now I have to get out of bed and go and turn it on manually. :grumpy:

Cute women can't tick a man off. That's wrong. Very very wrong!
Go walk and talk with her one day.

The locking ring on an EL Falcon Fuel Pump.

The fact that the replacement pump is broken.

The fact that my broken fuel pump caused me to miss basketball.

The fact that I been out to the pub in months.

The attitude of some around here (and their double standards).

The fact that I still have a casual job, and have to keep re-applying for it every six months.

The fact that I can't afford track tyres/wheels for my car so I can do track days.

The fact that I can't afford track days.

The fact that I can't lose weight no matter how hard I diet/exercise.

The fact that I haven't had sex in ages.

The fact that I (and my wants/desires) are now going to come second to everything else, forever and ever.

ALL OF THAT CRAP GRINDS MY GEARS INTO A FINE POWDER AND THEN RUBS THE RESULTING POWDER BETWEEN MY BUTTCHEEKS TILL I GET CHAFE.

People who can't see things from a logical point of view.

Today, I was talking to my mate about music, we were talking about Queensrÿche because that's what I'm doing for my solo performance in music. And he mentioned the song, "I don't Believe in Love," because as his trend seems to be with songs. He only likes a song if it's to do with either, love, or a girl, or even just says the word her in it. Then he suddenly says a fact about "I believe in a thing called Love" from The Darkness. I instantly presume he was talking about the Queensrÿche song, "I don't believe in Love," because the two song names are very similar. So I end up finding out soon that he was talking about a different song entirely. And he then tries to explain to me that it's hard not to know what he was meaning and tries to tell me I'm a dumb arse for not magically reading his mind. ... Excuse me!? ... What?

You talk about a song from Queensrÿche with the words, I; believe; in; love, in the title, then with no mention of changing band of conversation, start talking about another song with those exact same words in the title in the same order?

Pfffft, imbecile.

I like it to much to burn it, it's annoying how much it freezes though. I to think about the last time I saved with each little stutter of loading lag. Sometimes it's ok but it's usually slow.

Gear Grinder:

Opportunity costs.

Take the harder of the two opportunities in the short term but uncertainly for the long term?

Take the slightly less hard opportunity now and forgo the harder opportunity forever? But this slightly easier opportunity will still require lots of work and time to dedicate to it.
