Asking a such a fundamentally simple question as "What is a clutch?" after insulting everyone here has left you wide open for a flaming! I won't though since I'm not that childish.
A clutch is....well actually seeing as Wolfe2x7 has already given you the most informative link you're ever likely to need, (+REP for that!) then I don't need to go any further!

a clutch is the part of the car that controlls the gears. they do this by disingaging the crankshaft whilst the enginge is still running and this allows you to change the gears as there is no force acting on the clogs(gears) and so once you change the gear and release the clutch the gears and crankshaft are then made active again and you regain the power from the engine to the crankshaft and tires

It's kind of strange not to know what a clutch is.. IMO. I guess some people just play GT4 to play a video game.

Wow, I dont know how one could be a fan of gt4 and not know what a clutch is. No offense, but usually those sort of people play NFS.

Edit: by the way i dont have any gt games i just played gt4 once or twice at friends house... all stuff i typed are real life driftin techiques i got from wikipedia.... just to clear that up... im sorry if i confused anyone.........the titles AWD but i got into other stuff for some reason.. i just didn't want to start another thread for it so i did them together........
Edit2: by the way i dont drive i just turned 13....sorry im too young or something....by the way ill tell u i pasted stuff next time so its cleared up.....if i do get another question or point i want to clear up......

Please use proper grammar, or at least try. If you do not know English that well, you can search on GTP or the internet.

Hey come on guys, he admitted that he took the drift writeup from somewhere else, and he admitted that he doesn't drive, and said that he's sorry for all the confusing he's caused. Can't you all take it a bit easy on new members? We senior members are supposed to welcome them, not to discourage them with whole bunch of negative jokes. Aren't we supposed to do whatever we can to save them from becoming someone like PS, wasace68 and mopar68.
